Another question. Why do the guild traders not have anything for sale on PTS? So far the ones I have looked at are entirely empty.

Why not make a character, using the Summerset presets to make them max level and to give them all the armor sets/mats in the game... Then mail it to your character that needs them?0 -

Nice idea, but you can't send mail to yourself, and it's all bound (just did as you suggested, for which thanks, and then checked mailing and bank deposit). And I don't know anyone else on the PTS.
But have to say I'm really quite enjoying playing a brand new un-twinked character for a change! It's like being back at the beginning again with no cash, killing every mob for gear, and looting EVERY container for mats etc. Actually haven't had such a good time for ages
So really, I'm rather glad I didn't know about the insta-everything presets

Gear isn't character-bound. It's account bound. Template characters come with almost everything (most gear, motifs, etc.)0 -

Just deposit needed items from the template into the bank ... and let whichever character needs it withdraw.0 -

✭OK, went back and had another go at depositing in the bank, this time with more success.
But it seems you have to unpack every box first, and then unpack the boxes inside the boxes, because the bank will only accept individual items, not boxes with items inside them. This is not something I've ever come across on the live server, as I always unpack boxes when they arrive in my inventory anyway, to see what's inside them. So by the time I get to the bank, they are already unpacked.
So this is going to take a lot of unpacking before depositing! I wonder what the reason is for banks not accepting boxes.0
