Alot of guilds have side traders of slots are your issue. Or you can sell inside the guild.

Trading is a good part of the game right now, sparing one slot for a healthy trade guild can make you 100ks

the last thing anyone wants is chat filled with people shouting sales.

the current setup is idiotic. Trying to find something to buy is time consuming and again, idiotic. I have no idea what the hell they were thinking.

Especially when you have to specifically find an NPC to find what you're looking for, because perhaps, one guild doesn't sell that material or item.

Also, why pretense yet another request for a revamped market system by mentioning "Jewelry Crafting"?

The current system is garbage.

I really like the guild trader setup. I wish they would implement the same system for guild halls, if your guild wants the biggest hall in the best location you have to pay more than other guilds but you also get to plant an flag there and gain a name for yourselves.

There are many guild traders who I go to specifically because of the guilds that run them. This type of competition leads to great trade guilds.

Current system is horrible and made for just a few guild at the top and forces people to join these huge guilds making them even more powerful. Anyone that supports the current system is a GM in these guilds or an officer in these guilds or is an idiot that does not understand how horrible this is for the bulk of players

youre not forced to join anything. you can sell or buy in zone chat. again, problem solved.

...I don't understand the aversion to joining a trading guild? You talk with literally 1 person, when you join, and then you can sell your goods without ever having to interact with any human beings in the guild again. Like, what's the big deal.

Also that's just how it is in this game, and ZOS has stated they aren't going to change it, so might as well get used to it already.

I agree that the current system is extremely stale. I like the fact that it feels like you’re adventuring to find great deals but they could at least make the ui waaayyy more user friendly. Put a search bar or something in there, it’s extremely hard on the eyes to constantly scroll through motif after motif to find the ones you need.

I agree. The trading in this game is oddly obtrusive. For all the things the game does well by letting players easily access and enjoy parts of the game, the developers seem to have gone out of their way to make trading so bad that it requires 3 mods to be even close to what mmos in 1999 had. Trading is a big thing in mmos for me, and it makes me sad to feel im better off avoiding it in this one.

Trade chat wouldn't be so bad if there were a way to filter for key words. If I'm selling/buying a ton of [Raw Ancestor Silk], I'll typically only want to see messages related to [Raw Ancestor Silk]. I don't care about your stellar deal on [Corn].

Yes you are it's not about selling it's about buying try finding something on xb na like a gear piece it take all damn day porting from trader to trader. Scrolling through page after page.

They need a redo of the whole system it's horrible. Sure join a large guild or post something porting from zone to zone haggling with players great. It sucks plan and simple and I'm part of 3 major trading guilds and make a ton of gold I still hate it when I need to buy.

The current system works just fine, don‘t change it. For me it adds to the immersion to join a trading Guild and to be obliged to travel around to find guild traders.

I think there should be a Universal AH for players there are either not guilded, or in 5 guilds that do not have a Guild store. If one guild wins a location then you loose access to the Universal AH while you hold that location.

Since you auto join guilds on new characters you can just make a new toon every few days to abuse this AH. To prevent people from leaving and rejoining guilds to take advantage of it I'd say there has to be something like a 90 day period where you can "rejoin" a guild you left. So you can't just simply leave your massive trader guild, go buy up all the gold mats on the UAH then rejoin the trade guild to sell. Sure you could over time, but waiting 3 months doesn't exactly make it very effecient.

I don't think you should have it setup in your own house, that would make travel and finding a person a nightmare. I do think you could have a central bazaar like Everquest did. It was always fun go there setting up shop, and going afk for like 4 hours. Coming back and seeing all the plat you made.
