I get the impression that if they're already advertising the changes literally everyone on this forum hates (and thinks are stupid) then it's a good chance they are permanent?

We appreciate everyone’s continued feedback and thoughts on this topic, and understand the concerns you have. As such, we will add the ability to obtain the Pyandonean Motif Chapters through fishing, as well as in the Psijic Vault Crown Crate. As the Maormer are also known as the Sea Elves, it’s fitting that you’ll find these Motif Chapters while fishing in and around Summerset Isle. The plan is to implement this change in the next week or two on the PTS, so it will be in-game when Update 18 launches and the Pisjic Vault Crown Crates become available to those who pre-purchased the Summerset Chapter.
Thanks again for taking the time to let us know your thoughts, everyone, and we’re excited to have you try out the in-game component on the PTS very soon.

The big giant fullscreen banner that pops up every time you log into a character, completely obscuring your vision of the ingame world.
That change.

While I don't particularly like it, it is not really that much worse than the smaller announcement I get on the right every time now on live...
It won’t penalize you for missing one day a month. There’s only certain number of rewards each month and it’s less than the number of days in the month, so you can miss some number of days and still get all the rewards.MasterSpatula wrote: »I do think the Log-In rewards system is a bad idea, one that punishes us for having the audacity to miss logging in just one day in a month. I don't hate it, though. Just don't much care for it, either.
Everything else in the article seems pretty fine to me.
So what's this "literally everyone" nonsense?

Dude, it is five times the size of what we have on live. It’s an eyesore and a nuisance.

They really, really want people to gamble for it instead.
