Americans can enjoy a good boast sure enough, so can anyone. Not sure why a person can't enjoy some national pride; especially when said Nation is the last remaining global superpower.

Perhaps its because this thread is riddled with liberals and anti-national perspectives. It's almost as bad as facebook on this forums at this stage. I concur with the poster a few back, scrub this thread already mods. This community repeatedly shows its unable to discuss anything at all without bringing ad hominem or bigotry against people for having an opinion of some kind.

People have cultural quirks based upon where they are from. Who would have thought. Enough already.

Contact your over reacting government and complain.

This isn't really an overreaction..if they do this they might end up dead.

Remember, Russia started off as Socialism...turned to Communism, and is now obviously an elected official...

thats the general consensus of Americans around the world so its not something anyone should be surprised about

It's not though, it is the opinion of a very vocal minority. Most US citizens have national pride, but are embarrassed and vaguely nauseated by the short sided, tunnel-visioned MAGA wearing flag wavers. We are educated, literate, moderate, and well intentioned. But that's far less noticeable or memorable than being a troll, or a jerk.

National pride is a great thing, we should all have it. It is healthy to focus on what makes your home uniquely wonderful. But when the focus becomes disparaging others based on their "otherness" rather than respecting and learning from them, it's a slope towards fascism and/or ethnic cleansing.

I hope this is the volley that finally gets this thread closed, as it is merely divisive and not at all helpful to the OP or others with the same connectivity issues. Glad tidings to you all.

You mean the country that just got rid of net neutrality? *** like this can just as easily happen in the US. This is why we need a free and open internet.

Net neutrality is not what you think it is. It doesn't make the net open and neutral. It regulates the net so only certain (approved) companies can sell access to the net.

Getting rid of it allows internet providers to control your access to the internet. That, by its definition, means the internet is no longer free and open. Politicians and corporations could (and will) abuse the *** out of that.

They've always been able to do that :|

I feel very grateful to be Canadian.

I wish i had a solution but if your government is blocking access there is nothing zos, the community, or you can do.

It's a shame what they are doing.

Kinder Eggs are the one form of contraband I knowingly smuggle in partake of every trip abroad. There are actually a version of them for sale now in the U.S. that poses no risk to our precious children, but they are a travesty. White chocolate molded into the plastic shell with a crispy candy "yolk" The toys are better though.

I want to make fun of laws protecting kids too stupid to not eat toys...but...you know...Tide Pods.

As an Austrian I can honestly say with a smile, that my country is better than any other country in the world.
Centralized healthcare, no Poverty, Freedom of Speach, cheap cost of living, no neighboring threats (other than the global ones), no overly strong Religions (which are responsible for the degradation of a country like 90% of the time), no major pollution, surrounded by mountains and forests (the state I live in is even called "the green heart of Europe").

Thats not bragging, thats a simple fact. I wished all humans could live in a country like that.

Those are the "summer version" here. Horrible stuff. I'm a occasional collector of some of the toys. :) I did ask around when I first moved here from the States and discovered them and realised they were illegal in the States. Apparently it's not a problem, the small bits in the eggs. Well, unless you are a fat-fingered old lady trying to put some of the toys together.

This is upsetting. I'm friends with a number of Russian players, some of whom are abroad from their country and others who live there. Hopefully things will calm down and they can play again soon, and I would also hope that those Russians who can not access the game might be reimbursed on any lost subscription time. I know this is a lot to ask of ZoS but it really would go a long way toward treating the community (their customers) well. The cost of playing ESO can be quite high for a Russian player and not everyone is wealthy. I really hope they look out for this group of players. Some of the nicest people I've met in the game were Russian.

    Hey everyone,

If you are an ESO player in Russia and you are currently unable to connect to ESO, we ask that you please contact our Support team so we can gather a bit more info from you and do some troubleshooting. You can submit a Support ticket here: https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/

We’re closing this thread so that the above message doesn’t get lost in the discussion. Also, just a friendly reminder that if other players are seeking technical support here on the forums to please keep the discussion on topic. It makes it much more difficult for us to assess an issue and provide help when a thread is derailed by off-topic – and in this case inappropriate – posts.

    Thank you.
