Jewelrycrafting: Can't deconstruct new trait?

I submitted a feedback ticket about this, but I figured I'd open a forum thread as well.
On the PTS, I gathered up some Protective jewelry from the Undaunted chests -- three rings and a neck, which was obviously plenty to start researching. I hoarded a ring and the neck, and kept two rings for deconstructing. However, they are not showing up in my deconstruction list. They're not locked, and they don't have a tooltip reading "This item cannot be deconstructed." I noticed, however, that the tooltip does say that it's meant to be researched for the trait knowledge. I haven't tested this with other new traits -- my only Infused piece was from before the wipe this week, and I've yet to get Swift to drop yet.
Is this intentional, or a bug? If it's a bug, then there ya go. If it's intentional, is there a chance we could have a tooltip explaining so?

Rhyono✭✭Maybe it's protection against deconning something you need to research? I see merit to it, but the moment you have more than one, it becomes a drawback to stop all of them. As an option to always reserve one, it's nice. Forced, it's a hassle.0

Definitely a hassle if that's the case, as I had already tucked away the ring and neck I needed in my housing storage haha.0 -

✭✭There are a couple of items from when you start the main quest, and the nirnhorned item from the end of the Craglorn quests, that are like this also - can be researched, can't be deconned.0 -

Oh dang, didn't realize that. Well, then my request stands: I'd like a tooltip note similar to the existing one for un-deconstructable jewelry.Edited by joshfong on April 27, 2018 4:29AM1
