Beta players! Do you like the direction the game is going with Summerset?

I would have voted for C if not for the "ZoS is stabbing in the dark" part.

I am uneasy about some of these changes.

I main a stamina nightblade. SNB is pretty good in PvP so no real concern there.

However in PvE, SNB requires the most difficult skill rotation to be competitive and to compete in vet trials and some vet dungeons.

I have not been able to complete vet Falkreth because I just haven't been able to break that DPS barrier yet. People are telling me they take 3 DPS and a tank just so they have the DPS to complete it.

My friend's achievement character is a healer. What exactly are healers supposed to do to get this achieve on that character?

SNB, or any stam DPS isn't welcome at all in vet AS trial.

This is wrong on so many levels.

Some of these changes are going to make stam builds even more unwelcome and more difficult for those of us that don't have the coordination and reflexes of a 16 year old.

The game was not great at launch. Every release since Orsinium probably has been an improvement. That trend does not seem to be ending in Summerset.

Templar changes are bad . DK changes are meh . NB changes are just unnecessary . But the show goes on . Adapt or die .

I lost my *** last year with all the changes for Morrowind. I quit for 8 or 9 months. Now I"m back and it's still the same game. Now I can't really be bothered to get all coo coo for coco puffs again.

Change is good, going the right direction, not worried

If you don't expect change in a mmo, I'm not exactly sure what your expectations were.

I'll admit that from beta to now this game looks and feels quite different from a class perspective and combat perspective. Thing is, that was the expectation as this is my 5th mmo I spent time in (I've played more than 5, I'm counting only the ones I played for over a year or so).

If there is one thing I would revert it's softcaps being eliminated. That's not too terrible a list.

The changes are too significant to judge the overall impact right now. I like some changes, I don't like others, but until it is all together it's hard to really judge--we don't even have proper PTS notes, just memories of some testers, lol.

I do love that they are willing to make significant and potentially unpopular changes on a broad level. IMO, that shows a commitment to continuing to develop and tweak the game, which I appreciate, even if I find some individual changes unpalatable.

I've been here since early beta, i *know* ZOS is very stabby, especially in the dark.

I predict there will be a lot of moaning here on the forums for quite a while after the release and no small part of that will be due to things not working as intended (aka as bugs) ...

@Katahdin people tend to bring 3 dps in motif dungeons just so you can get through it quicker for the motif page to sell. I’ve done falkreath plenty with 3 dps and a tank, yes, but I’ve also done it with 3 dps and a healer, and 2 dps, 1 healer, and 1 tank. Perhaps it takes a while to learn (many fights require a lot of attention to positioning, movement, etc.), but your friend should absolutely be able to get the clear

Also, there are similar principles in vAS (especially hm). Stam builds often ramp up dps on stationary targets. Whenever they move to a new target, most builds are going to have to put out a slew of dots again. In vAS hm there are tons of moving targets (and it requires tons of movement, anyways) so it definitely favors these ranged builds that can set up the few dots they need from afar and start dpsing immediately. My friend only brings stamplar in there, though, and does fine on it. I also know a guy who’s completed it on stamdk, so it’s definitely possible on stam. And really, being able to run bow/bow for a full ranged setup that can likely still perform fairly well next update should encourage even more stam builds to complete it. It’s more challenging on some builds, at least rn, but absolutely possible!

No one is claiming elitism, I simply wanted people who have played the game the longest how they feel about the direction of the game they have spent years playing. Where the hell is the "No!!!" option? The game is becoming more and more casual, very few problems are ever fixed, classes are being homogenized, *** like Zaan exists and will still exist come summerset, befoul is broken, sets carry and skill loses its relevancy with every update be it chapter or dlc.

He's not targetting us beta players because of "elitism", but because we are living witnesses of how great ESO has been in the beginning (despite the maaaaaaaaaany bugs, and classes balance issues).

I like it, but fact is:

A: Cyrodil is broken, serverside for EU is not playable.

B: Not enough end content for Hardcore players. (More trials and 4 man dungeons)

It is to late now, but this game could have been way bigger than WOW is this would have been fixed 2 years ago.

I've given up on endgame content, the skill gap is too wide and the content too difficult for me to keep up with, so I haven't really bothered looking at the changes,

I trust it won't hamper my solo experience though.

Change is great when it works but looking at the nerfs and buffs threads i gotta say i feel like they are stabbing in the dark..

And well wardens holy hell why make a class and not actually make it any better so far after its released... just insane.

To be honest they are really scrapping by with content. they just now release 2 handed weapons part 2 pieces. what are we; waiting for coloring armor to come out again? this is the kinda of stuff We needed 2 years ago. but now its weather or not they will face PVP issues that may put the nail in the coffin because if we have another one of those issues where stam users all used the same build (Valdirdrith? Viper sting + twin sisters] it will kill this games PVP.
