MMORPGs are fantastic worlds for us to explore and conquer. We make many lasting friendships in MMORPGs and some of us try to complete the hardest content with the greatest adventurers at our sides. What is your finest moment? Your story for the ages?

When it's all said and done what moment can you look back upon and say "That was my best in-game moment.":

I'd love to read these.

    This was a fun one.
We were waiting for a Delve boss to respawn in Cyrodiil and started Messing with emotes.

just had the best thing ever.

Seeing azura statue in vvardenfell. It still as pretty.

I got into TES with morrowind on the x-box. A few of friends in HS had it and during a group hang out i tried it. It was the first large open world rpg that I played. I'm from the NES 2d gen (33 yrs old)

so seeing vvardenfell again on the ps4 has been a treat.

I guess my guild liked to dance back in the beginning.
We used to meet on, what we called, Shipwreck Peninsula every Sunday. Just south of Skywatch.

Beating Mannimarco without dying before he got nerfed into Oblivion.

I know there are other bosses in the game much tougher than he was (then and now), but back then, he was the toughest boss I fought.

I was so confident, I went after world bosses solo.

    Then they got real buffed.

One day, I hope to solo some world bosses. As of now... nope. Not even close to ready.

My finest moment is using random dungeon finder, then getting placed into a partially done White Gold Tower. Apparently, the group had been attempting to beat the last boss, Molag Kena, for over two hours. Helped them beat the boss on my first try, all without having ever played through WGT before.
They were very grateful and it really fed my ego, plus they gave me all the Spell Power Cure pieces they had.
Really, what made it the best was just how relieved and profoundly thankful this group was that they had finally beat WGT.

that would be cool. MUD do this, they have a donation chest and it typically gets full often. No one takes more then needed.

I think it was back in 2011 when I joined, and took my magsorc to level 50 and I thought I was close to being done.

Boy, was I ever wrong. But, beating the last two bosses was the best feeling I had back then. Especially when I figured out it was better to use a resto staff and wear them down slowly (so I could heal myself), instead of a destro staff and dying before I could heal myself. But, for example, my first fight against Mannimarco - 48 minutes. I think I had 10K-11K health.

But back then, I really didn't know much about the game, and we had less magicka, I knew nothing about gear (I knew I needed high level destroy/resto staffs, but armor was just stuff I'd found with magicka on it, regen, etc.) So, stuff pieced together from drops/rewards. None of the armor was from the same set, all light armor but that was about it lol.

She retired after the fights (she still is one of my characters), and then did the same with a Templar (magic). Still have him too.

I play solo due to medical reasons, and often can't change to another staff, different setup, when the game goes sideways which wouldn't be a problem for most players, but has a major impact on me. This didn't help since in neither fight did I use my ultimate option. Completely forgot about it.

    Great game.

There's a certain aspect of fun when you are new to an MMO that can never be replicated. That feeling when you don't know what's really going on but are somehow succeeding with your motley crew of group members in rag tag gear of mismatched sets.

Proudest was healing an cp180 tank trough vCoS on my sorcerer.

Funniest was pvp with guild before craglorn launch, we was just 8 with with two low levels so we could not do much so we decided to have some fun, low level lady danced nude, low level guy was playing lute, rest sneaking nearby.
I protested saying it was an too obvious trap, I was wrong all fell for it, one guy even manage to fall for it twice or perhaps he though he could 1vX us. kept up it for an long time until getting zerged.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Casual me was tanking for some guildies for VICP. I had only ever done vicp once on hard mode and we werent the best set up. Healer was new to healing and one dps just came back from a break from eso with sub par gear. Other dps was fine and supported healing and my tank build was built for self survival.

Most of the dungeon went well with only one wipe at the giant eyeball boss due to some bad positioning. We wipe a few times at lord warden though doing hard mode due to healer and return dps not knowing all mechanics but we work through it and they learn more each try.

We finally get him down to 20 ish percent and through his final shade phase when everyone but me dies. I proceed to take 10 mins slowly dpsing lord warden down as a tank with 4 of those orbs right next to the portal drop point. I had given up when i was slowly crawling towards a portal during his wipe phase, thinking i was gunna die and it was all for naught, my team had given up too. But i did not die. In the middle of his insta kill the lord warden succumbed to my searing grasp and i just stood there, stunned as the pledge updated with a successful completion.

Im not the greatest player and i know someone out there has probably soloed lord warden or something. But by malacaths sweaty testies i am proud of myself for that moment

Well, I am a returning player and been away for quite a while. recently returned and still lvl'ng my sorc, so I can only tell about something quite satisfying that happened yesterday. Nothing extra-ordinary or to boast off, not at all, but simply very amusing to me.

I was in a public dungeon in Stormhaven, Bonesnap Ruins. For some unknown reason I was very absent-minded that evening ... I died several times, frequently looked on my map, running past the objectives of the quest so I had to return on my steps once in a while.

There was a Khajit who stayed close to me, helping me along. I lost him when he proceeded while I noticed a forgotten objective. I quickly talked to the npc, in my hurry not seeing it became an enemy ...that killed me with my back turned ...one cause of my deaths hehe.

Anyway, me and the Khajit met again, it seemed he returned to see where I was hiding lol. He patiently waited while I drew my map again and again, managing to run all wrong directions. At last we came to the spot where the small boss was I suppose. There I managed to die three times in a row, and the poor Khajit died once too. I felt really bad about that, and also a bit ashamed ....not even I had an explanation why I was performing so poorly. The best I could hope was that he was laughing bending double behind his screen at the absurdity of my sorcs behaviour.

But then, the magic happened. After I resurrected for the third time, I managed to keep us both alive only using my resto staff and my one healing spell on that (blessing of protection I believe), doing light attacks inbetween to keep mana coming. There were several adds drawn from the room so it took a while...but it felt as if we were dancing....really dancing! And it was a lot of fun!

Thank you unknown Khajit! I hope you were amused nonetheless hehe. I'll remember our dance forever!

Back when VR was still a thing, I was farming XP in a Cyrodill delve when a small group of Vet players attacked me, and I barely escaped.

I wasn't a pro/experienced ESO pvper, nor was the character built specifically for 1vX, but I tailed them nonetheless. When they got careless, I attacked them and killed them all. They probably were, as "1337" players put it, potatoes, but to me, it was no mean feat back in the day.

Something similar happened in Imperial City at a later date. I was questing solo in the Arena district, hugging walls and sneaking (as fast as a magicka non-NB could) on my way to deposit a hefty load of TV stones. Suddenly, a hostile player dropped from the adjacent building right in front of me, Master weapon gleaming in hand, shoulders and helm betraying a popular monster set.

Detected instantly, I engaged on instinct. From the ensuing quick, violent, and very close fight I managed to walk away with nearly four times the TV stones I was carrying before the encounter.

To his credit, the player took his defeat gracefully.

Beating vMA for the very first time. Nothing quite like the feeling of achievement of finally beating the last boss after you've spent a ludicrous amount of soul gems and countless hours in there.
