Make summerset angler achievements increase drop chance of maomer motifs

Just like completing morrowind main quest helped your rng with arminger, I am hoping these two achievements can give each a percentage chance to drop the motifs more often. You can put on the tooltip that it increases your percentage to obtain a motif by say 2 percent or something

As long as it doesn't work exactly like the Morrowind main quest's buff to buoyant armiger motifs, because "slightly less horrible" isn't really an improvement when the base drop rate is "terribly, awfully rare".

So to improve my chances at getting the Maomerr motif, you want me to.....fish?

It's not that the idea doesn't make sense, just that I hate fishing and anything to do with it can go die in a ditch

You’ll have to fish anyways, as that’s where the motif comes from...

Whilst I agree it seems like it's going to be an achievement you get whilst farming motifs any way. Which is a bit odd to me.

Wait - I missed this in the patch notes. There is a Maormer motif that drops from fishing in SS? Can someone point me to the patch notes for this, as I was only aware of Psijic, Sapiarch, Fang Lair, and Scalecaller.

I'm also aware of the Pyandonean Motif coming in the loot boxes.

Atm you can only get them in crown crates from the pre order
if not for the 18 page *** storm it still would be crowns crates only

Cool! They actually listened to the feedback from that thread. I only got to about page 13 or 14 and kinda stopped after that, as it just kept growing and pretty much everyone had said what I was gonna say. It's great that they responded to the feedback and added an extra way to get them, after they claimed that putting them in the crates in the first place was based on player feedback (creating more excitement around blue-tier cards).

Guess it's time to get into fishing!

Can you imagine how many people are gonna be out there fishing? I've got tons of bait saved up for whenever I got around to farming Perfect Roe.

ETA: Plus, now it won't be so bad getting a page or two in any of the free crates. You can learn them, knowing that you can fish/trade for any others.
