stamblade players: what's your best training dummy parse without weapon power potions?

I'm trying to see if its possible (for me) to do a sustained 30k using only normal restore stamina potions. Using hundings, spriggans, and Kragh's, I haven't been able to sit comfortably even near 30k. Usually stay around 25-26k, and end up at 27k after execute phase. Obviously, maelstrom bow might get me close, but I don't have it (yet).

I've tried 2 different weapon setups: dual daggers, both sharpened, poison enchant on mainhand, weapon power on offhand, with warrior mundus; and dual axes, mainhand nirnhoned w/ poison enchant, offhand infused w/ weapon power, along with lover mundus.

My rotation has been typical stamblade rotation, but with expert hunter slotted on front bar and using sap essence (or w/e the stam morph is) to keep major brutality up. Interestingly, switching out sap essence for rending slashes hasn't made much difference for me.

Some of this is definitely due to improper rotation....I seem to never get 3 spectral bows per cast.

Anyway, I'm interested in what others what might tried.

I'm missing war machine but can comfortably get over 30k without weapon pots. Usually average 34-35k without pots.

But I'm missing wm which would push it up and also I don't religiously practice rotation.

Also when practicing rotation even without weapon pots, don't substitute out dps skills to get the major brutality, or major savagery.

So like you said, have rending over sap essence etc.

25k. With VO/TFS/Chudan/LordWarden & Maelstrom Bow. 2 recovery glyph. Maybe I get one bow proc per cast. Maybe. Sometimes not.

Don’t be concerned with these crazy high numbers that you can’t sustain or come close to pulling in a real fight.

@Wrecking_Blow_Spam So you're pulling those numbers without having any source of major brutality or savagery? Interesting...I just assumed I'd hit higher numbers with them. I'll add rending slashes and blade cloak back in (although I'm terrible at fitting blade cloak into my rotation and it's getting its damage nerfed anyway =/) What gear are you using? Mind sharing your rotation?

@kylewwefan Really, with Chudan, Lord Warden, and 2 recovery glyphs? That's fantastic. There's some part of me that simultaneously can't stand the thought of not only using damage boosting things, but also desperately wants to. You're inspiring me to tweak some other stuff.

And yes, understood -- I have no illusions about getting crazy high numbers. This is part personal goal, and part preparation to start trying to get into vSO runs....I need me some VO.

Same. I *** hate the neurotic use of potions (in any game) so I generally don't even bother unless I'm doing a vet HM which is rare anyway.

40K+ is definitely possible using trash pots on a stamblade, with the top ones maybe hitting 45k.

Is it simply the gear?
I definitely know my gear setup could be better but I feel like my rotation is solid.

Don’t judge because I have been away from the game for 9 months but:
5xNMG 5x Viper 2x Velidreth with Maelstrom bow on back bar.

Currently trying to farm a set of War Machine (just need jewelry) and will definitely be replacing the viper set.

VO, Hunding's, Veli + Warrior stone puts me at 3400 weapon damage and 64% crit. Using 3 heavy attacks on front bar I was able to hit 31k using no pots. Redgaurd passive and heavy attacks were able to comfortably sustain me through a 3mil dummy.

Stamblade has a tough rotation to master but it's the most hard hitting stam class imo. Try 1 dagger 1 axe, nirn/infused. If you can, switch kraghs out for veli too.

The key definitely isn't animation canceling. If you're having problems hitting 30k there's likely more than one thing you're doing wrong. I'd start with your rotation.

The Spectral bow is the result of having either Relentless Focus (the Stam. morph of Grim Focus....) or Merciless Resolve (the Magika morph...) It must be slotted in your hotbar and activated....

@willhardt716ub17_ESO the rotation is what most ppl use... I honestly can't remember all details but it's easy just check on YT parses.

I'm using:
Nmg 2 dagger 3 body
Fang snape 3 jewellery 2 body
2 monster
Max health max Stam
Redguard

2 fang Snape is not always optimal in trails but it's very good on dummy or 4 man stuff. Also WM is much better than Nmg but I don't have them weapons.

Also I got VO and hundings sets lying around

2h and bow is op for trash stacks is what I was talking about. If you use a master 2hander with brawler you can do more damage then steel nado and get massive shields that make u nigh indestructible in sketchy trash stacks. If you don't use deadly cloak you can get one more surprise attack off and deal quite a bit more dmg, it requires healers that aren't potatoes in some fights tho.
