I'm standing my ground. Which is : PvP in a PvP zone is legit.
Expecting others not to play the game as intended for that zone is wrong.
Done.
Its really no different than the current crop of backpatters talking about how good they are at the game when all the good pvpers left 2-3 years ago.
Scrubs eat scrubs I guess?
Of course thats just based on some of the self-gratification I have read on the various forum threads I have lurked in for the last year or so.
God knows how much of it there is in the game itself, havent stepped foot there in a year and a half. Even then the PvP playerbase was turning into unchecked zerg trash talking mad *** all the time.

I agree with you but I think the PVE community just wants to not be insulted. I am certain that they new the risk when they entered the zone.

see it from the pvpers point of view, these guys give some of the easiest AP, are actually crippling their faction by not contributing to the PvP war effort, and will keep doing this for the petty money gains.
this kind of thing something the game really doesnt need.
those quests could have been useful for the campaign but instead they aren't. so the PvEers are infact a burden to everyone else.
this event has made it clear the last few days that IC and questers can cripple a faction since they dont actually help in ANY way at all, no buffs, no bonus points, no nothing. but hinder it in the form of taking up more prime time player slots.

Well crap, when you put it that way....
I may need to stop killing AD or DC questers lest I drive them from Cyrodiil and thereby assist the enemy factions.

It's such a bad look, and I get why some people complain about the PVP experience and don't even want to try it.
I've been talking to some new players who politely asked (through xbox messaging) an enemy alliance group that kept killing them if they could just quest (because they obviously stood no chance against these players). They were met with responses full of swears, insults, and general unpleasantness so they just left and went back to PVE. It's embarrassing.
So, I'm a PvEr. I've never been to PVP zone so I'm curious. Is there something that can stop me from going to Cyrodil armor and weaponless (so they don't get damaged by death), let PVPers kill me if they find any amusement in it, wait till they get bored (read a book, make tea) and leave to rez in the same spot they stopped me ?
