What is better for healing nirnhorn or powered.

Sharpened and precise also might be options

I tend to take divine in order to max out my mundus stone effects.

Well and precise for weapons, as i prefer the shadow stone. Especially on NB, were I can force a guaranteed critical.

I was asking about weapons traits not armor traits.

Yes, but that goes hand in hand with them - one supports the other.

Good question. Coming from a PvP perspective I’ve tried both and can’t say I notice much of a difference with either at least in terms of self heals. But usually I just don’t bother to nirnhone my backbar weapons since it’s more costly than make a powered weapon. I’d assume it probably depends on what type of weapon you’re using and for what purpose.

My healer who was using a lightning staff at the back bar have the staff with Nirnhoned, while the front bar healing staff is powered. I don't have the numbers to back my decision though. It was just a feeling.

Seems like most theory crafters go with powered on their front bar resto staff so that probably answers your question as to which is overall better for healing.

Generally powered or infused with a weapon damage enchant, as it helps boost your heals as well. It's really either or.

This discussion talks about it. You have to have extremely low spell damage for nirn to be better.

Powered gives more raw healing power than nirnhoned.

you would better off using either the apprentice on mag or warrior on stam then the shadow, they give around the same crit damage but your noncrit damage is more. precise is junk, has been for a few patches. nirn is better for damage and healing and powered is vastly better for healing.

but if i was going to recommend a trait for a healer, it would be infused. infused is just the most versatile, it basially doubles your enchats power. put a absorb magic on, bang 150 more regen on average, put a crusher on, bang permanent 4% armor reduction on your target. Glyph of Weakening, bam, ~30% damage reduction on one target. you see how good it can be.

also back bar ought to lighting staff, either infused or charged, with a lightning enchant on it.

Unless you are already doing stuff that get boosts outside of healing like wards and boosts and whatnot. The boost can be for those.

Decisive is most supportive triat with increase up times for horn and thus damage buff, infused is best for helping up times on debuffs (can be taken care by tank or dps), charged is best at buffing up times of secondary effects concussion( 8% more damage to eniemies). Powered for raw healing, best for trials usually (endurance fights). Precise burst potential for dungeons (short fights) or dps/ healer hybrids.

Desicive and charged are my favorite combinations for offensive support.
