Should Venom Arrow be reworked?

I'm confident that if ZOS were to pull up the numbers they would see how unattractive this morph is. After all, Poison Injection is the go to morph for both PvP and PvE.

Any ideas on what can be done to this morph to make it more attractive?

    How about make it so they're both executes except cut the initial direct damage of Vernon Arrow in half, keep the interrupt, and remove the stun. This will make poison injection better for PvE, and Vernon Arrow better for PvP.

    Or perhaps make it function like Burning Embers where you get healed for the damage done, and you get a burst heal when the DoT expires or when it's reapplied. I would not make it an execute if they were to go this route with it because then everyone would use it over Poison Injection.

    I keep asking for direct execute every time this topic comes up so might as well do it again. Deal 300% more damage against targets under 25% health. Keep interrupt. Remove DoT if its too strong.

    I like this so much. Having a viable instant executioner for bow builds would make them more viable and overall more interesting.

    I'd like to see a small damage increase to narrow the gap between Venom & Poison. Increasing Venom's execute range could work, or simply increasing the damage of the DOT to make it more useful pre-50%.

    The stun is a byproduct of the interrupt; I don't know if there are other mechanics that interrupt without stunning? The changes to CC immunity over the last few patches have made it less relevant in PvP ime, but spamming it from a castle keep is still highly entertaining. :D

    Honestly though, I think the solution is what ZoS has been doing: adding more content where interrupts - especially ranged interrupts - are important. ZOS wants to give us meaningful choices, but it's not their fault people refuse to look beyond the ~meta~ used by top-tier groups, y'know? It's the same problem that faces Crushing Shock vis-a-vis Force Pulse. Sure you can power through the Twins or Yokeda Kai without the interrupt, and high-calibre groups don't need it because people know how & when to bash-interrupt, but it's a godsend in places like CoS or HoF and when you're running casual groups. Not to mention stuff like Dragon Bones where trying to out-DPS mechanics will (literally) blow up in your face.

    I wouldn't mind the interrupt if it didnt grant CC immunity. Still though due to the lack of execute damage from the bow I would feel hard pressed to use Venom Arrow over Poison Injection.

    A more powerful overall Dot might make it more attractive. Or more front loaded execute/damage.

    Certainly it is a very unattractive morph as it stands.

    Id say nerf poison injections scaling to 25% like all the other executes. Then Venom Arrow is not so much a sacrifice to use over Poison Injection. Poison Injection is just to strong in my opinion.

    Please no, we don't need anymore nerfs. Poison Injection is the worst execute in game. It has one benefit it that its a dot, which means you can use other executes with it. The overall damage on a boss might look pretty but the Dot doesn't kill people who have a heal or absorbs.

    If anything move the execute portion over to direct damage on Venom Arrow like @SodanTok suggested.

    Buffing the DoT of Venom Arrow by 50% would be a solid route as well. It would make it the clear winner in PvP, and Poison Injection will remain the better choice for PvE. Similar to Crushing Shock and Force Pulse.

    I have a better idea for Venom Arrow remove the stun and interrupt and increase it’s damage 300% vs targets above 50% the lower their health drops the smaller the bonus gets. I feel like this would add something unique to the Bow
