So I found a Thieves Guild Dead Drop or however they're called, opened it and my character launched into the air falling onto the ground as if dead. But this animation didn't stop, the character wouldn't stand up and neither skills nor light or heavy attacks would work.
I got it resolved through dieing and I think it could be resolved by a port as well, though I didn't test this.
