Can we make the Banking Assistant less mobile?

At one point I had to put in a ticket to retrieve some items I had used when I thought I was depositing them into my bank, turns out the banker had moved away from me and I used the items instead of depositing them.

Yesterday the banker moved away from me while I was actively moving inventory around back and forth and he moved away again preventing me from shuffling items. It's extremely annoying, even more so that I paid 5k crowns for this QoL upgrade.

Just break his kneecaps or do whatever you have to do in Summerset, I'd just like him to stop moving around when I'm stationary. XD

Did you have other players around you running into him or other NPCs doing so?
NPCs will get pushed by other NPCs. Also us players get pushed.

Also. I know for a fact that the vendor and banker npc disengage the interface when they move away. Been many a dolmen where I needed to sell while leveling faster where I had to go as fast as I could only to see the vendor window shut as the owner of the vendor ran away with them.
So, this makes me think that you didn't even actually enter the vendor window.
But if you were in that window, then it should look different than normal inventory and won't allow using items. I know my inventory and bank windows look different on gamepad ui.

And last, how quickly did you enter the banker window? "run run run run run fast dismount and open"? All the pets and assistants need to readjust when you stop moving to a valid position relative to you, for sometimes odd reasons, which means they won't stay put right away. Maybe you're just too quick and it exaggerates with pts lag.

Nope, window said 'Deposit' when it happened. I got the items back and now know that he moves away so I'm more careful.

And my windows don't close out when he moves away, I have yet to have that happen. Hell I've activated him right in front of me, shuffled inventory, and took so long he's moved away. It's really quite annoying.

This isn't on PTS, this is on Live. I'd just like them to add this fix in Summerset is all. XD

I agree with this but also how they move when you try to talk to them. I guess zos programmed it so the banker would always be x distance away in the players last location to help at writ turn in, but now when i approach my banker to talk to him he is running away from me and I kind of have to chase him in order to get him to stand next to me so I can do my business!

The irony is when I hand in writs I usually step away from the boxes to go through my bag. Inevitably because my banker is standing 10 feet away in my last location he ends up literally on top of the writ turn in boxes. Right where I assume they do not want him to be

Of course he is going to run away when you want to "do your business".

I love the way he starts walking away while you're busy talking to him.
