Someone's gonna have to explain to him what teabagging is. I don't want to risk it, though.

Wait, the tea bag cosplay would be to reference tea bagging in PVP?

Now you;re catching on.
If a event were to be held, I believe only 10,000 people or less will come and not the 10 millions they boast.

given that population of entire NYC is just under 9 million? and that Blizcon tends to get about 20+thousand people across their entire weekend? I'm not sure you guys get the sense of scale here.
I mean... comiccon gets about 130k people over the weekend and its... its a mess. crowded, good luck getting into any panels unless you reserve your spot early in the morning mess.
10k people is about the number of the typical specialized convention attendance, so...

Not everyone has to cosplay.

I hate to say this, but it seems you’re not quite up to date. Don’t you know that Fallout and The Elder Scrolls share the same universe?

Oh come on, that's not the same thing!

"I haven't the foggiest of notion how anybody could make the leap that they are in fact part of the same thing," he said. "We made Elder Scrolls, and a completely different developer and publisher came up with Fallout, which we then acquired. So how did they ..."

Run by Zenimax and releases news from all companies owned by Zenimax. So yeah it is.
I feel like QuakeCon has a greater emphasis on Quake games and the tournament held there. Sure they show some upcoming games but it's not a place to cosplay as a Dunmer or anything.
I am European so the whole cosplay thing goes over my head. I have been to Eve Online fanfest and that is something I never wish to repeat.
European's don't cosplay?
I am sure they do,somewhere but I have yet to see someone cosplay. It's just not a big thing in my neck of the woods.
some of my fave cosplayers are European, so yeah... they do indeed cosplay in Europe

Ok. @Knowledge . here is another example, and not to be mean, of if you Googled or looked on YouTube, you would see....
ESO at Pax East, Pax West, E3 Con (which is all Bethesda), QuakeCon, etc..
And if you look under media on ESO.com home page, they have vids of all the cons going back to 2013.
Also, there are several professional cosplayers who do just Elder Scrolls cosplay who have been featured in several ESO-Live episodes.
TLDR; Yup, there already is "all the above"....
Huzzah!!!

1.) These kinds of events are typically very time consuming to put together, organize, and then put on.
2.) Even if you charge ticket prices, the events typically run at a loss.
3.) It takes away from development time, because Devs are then putting that energy into presentations, powerpoints, and "Showing things off" instead of working on the game proper.
I've been to several MMO Fanfests before, and all of them are a lot of fun. But i'm going to guess the cost of time and money is the reason they aren't pulling it off, especially when they have Quakecon, PAX, etc, that they can go to and meet folks at.

At least at East European Comic Con there is a lot of cosplay, same as for other conventions. I think that guy just chosed the wrong event to participate. For me there is always a lot of fun, nice people and hot chicks. I have a photo with someone that made a cosply for Leia in her slave outfit ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
