I have 12% downloaded in 24 hours, so you can work out how long that is going to take. Downside of living in rural areas I guess.
So count yourselves lucky that it's in hours rather than a week.
It's the fact that it's not actually downloading at all ...
Not to mention the write errors... did you even read the post?

There are a massive number of posts spread out over 7 pages, all citing different problems.
So no need to be rude.
Well, I was optimistic for awhile as it started to re-download everything. This time instead of getting the "Content write failed" message at 24% I got it at 14%.
2 days of trying...and no luck. And here I was looking forward to being a newbie beta tester.

... but it's the same problem. Not sure how asking had you actually read the post before commenting is rude, but ok <.<

NOW; after several hours with computer switched off I tried to launch PTS only for it to crash again. There was no re-download or message to that effect so I thought to do a repair. The repair went through the steps it does with progress bar moving up and down as would be expected then started to re-download entire PTS. To be clear: this is not the file verification stage but a complete re-download.
Wow! I mean just WOW! It's as if ZOS really do'nt want feedback. Launcher at 1% with 58xxx MB remaining at 1.4x MB/s. Got to be looking at a further 4 - 8 hours or longer for this redo.
It's little wonder so many people get mad at ZOS. Goodness knows how bad it's going to be when Summerset goes live and we have the related down load.

I understand your frustration, as do most people in this thread. However, you gotta have some perspective. Isn't it better that this happen on PTS and they fix it before it goes live?

This is a noob question, but how do I download the fix? Am I supposed to delete the PTS and redownload it?

Perspective? Come on. We all know that problems with DL can happen and that ZOS do try to put things right but this is, as I wrote, ridiculous*. Many more hours to download than expected, constant file errors, launcher restarting entire download and repair simply not working. And I need perspective? Furthermore*, the idea that it's better problems happen now and they fix it before going live is just silly. ZOS may well fix the PTS download but then the live download will, more than likely, have it's own problems.
Perspective! Nice way to talk down to someone.
