PTS Download/Install Fail

So, I was very much looking forward to participating in testing SI on the pts. However, the d/l/install failed 3 times at ~22-27%. Considering the abysmal slow d/l speed of ~3.8 Mbps and that I've now wasted ~70Gb of my download cap on failed installations, I am disinclined to try to install the pts a fourth time.
My event viewer does not show any critical system errors, yet during the install, near the point noted above, the launcher/installer would display a "write content failed" error and would not download further. Nor was there any "repair" option available. The drive being written to is a 500Gb SSD w/300Gb of free space. System has 32Gb of ram, so I know there is no problem at my end.

WetshirtSoul ShrivenSame exact issues here. Been trying to download it, three times. Also for some reason when my internet connection went down, the download started anew and it took up an additional 60Gb of disk space.0 -
Auldjohn✭✭✭✭No write error but download reaches 15-20% then restarts from zero. Hardwired RJ45 to 802.11ac router. Cablemodem 250MBps broadband. Launcher Shows only 5MBps rate, set unlimited.

Tried a 3rd and got to 21% but with HTTP request failed this time.If I pause and resume the download backtracks 4% and attempts a repair and fails. 10-14MB/s0 -
kernelwardSoul ShrivenI am kinda on the same boat. I already tried:
Copying contents of live ESO to PTS and using launcher to repair/update. Launcher said that it's unable to determine current version. Won't download anything.
One fresh install of PTS resulted in Content Write Failed. Pausing and restarting the download or reopening launcher did nothing.
Another fresh install of PTS supposedly downloaded the game. I saw the "Play" in launcher. When I ran it, I got fatal error 6. I did repair which gave me another 9GB of updates. It did nothing. Still "fatal error 6". Another repair gave me another 4GB of updates. Repair after that started the PTS download all over again.
I tried again. Downloaded the fresh version of PTS again. I saw the play button but I had to restart computer because I installed a program that needed computer restarted. I guess launcher forgot that I downloaded PTS because all I saw is the "Repair" button which started the download all over again.
Now I'm downloading the PTS again. 60GB download at 2.2MB/s.0 -
