Will PvP vendor be cheaper now that we'll be able to upgrade jewelry?

I wonder who will pay 250k gold for a ring/necklace if you can get them blue/purple and then upgrade for free (yes, spending time farming mats, still free).

So, you guys think Cyrodiil vendor should be modified some way?

They said no in the news release about jewelry crafting.

It will probably take a hell of a grind to get the upgrade materials and the time to research take some time.

If I read the notes right each gold temper is made by 10 scraps or what ever they are called, so imagine needing to find 80 Gold tempers to upgrade a sword, thats the sort of grind we are looking at. So the golden dont seem that bad still in my view.

My best guess is that if the unrefined gold upgrade mats are about as rare as tempering alloy eventually and the demand levels off to be similar then you're looking at 10x the cost of a legendary blacksmith upgrade or about 520,000 gold just for the legendary upgrade. This cost would obviously be much higher off the start as well.

Also as a side note, that cost will hopefully be taken into consideration for any legendary jewelcraft master writs.
