Permanent Emps losing their title :(

On my second pass of the Patch notes I spied that Perm Emps are losing their titles to former emp.

Bit gutted for them actually I always thought that was a cool touch. Bet the battles for them were furious.

Anyone on here got one? Good fight for it?

    Ahhh come'on I thought it was cool. Of they added campaign even cooler 'Emperor of Haderus'

    This is not a bout "former emperor" this is about the actual "Emperor" title.
    People who were emperor of discontinued campaings when they got deleted got to keep the title (but nothing else) up until this patch.

    Don't think anyone but the perma emps themselves will be too sad about it, it was all about getting the right cliques to support you for it anyway lol. It's a bug ZOS fixed, they knew that it had a chance of not lasting forever.

    BTW, all those perma emperors would also give out the achievement "Emperor Slayer" or whatever it's called, when killed.

    Ok, that explains how I got the achievement once on a campaign with no emp.

    I know. Hence why I said Former Emperor isn’t great anymore. Losing out on Emperor and being Former Emperor only now sucks. That said, it was always a bug.

    Having held a perma emp title for over 3.5 years now; who cares?
    If it became that important to some people, then good riddance.
    Just gotta find another title to fill that rp gap... councilor maybe, or monster hunter.

    I think it is good to loose permanent emp title.

    I was the Last emperor on Almalexia pc/eu and i was not sad about loosing my Emp title and become Formal emperor, this is basicly how should it works in game in my opinion.

    every rulers time will come to an end anyway :D

    And it is not fair against other competative players, perma emp must go sorry.

    Eh, nothing to get worked up over, truth be told. Someone received a permanent emperor title. Yeah, that's cool for a few days, maybe even a few months, but in the grand scheme of things, it's just a title in a game, and no one will care come 1, 2, 5 years from now. Honestly, it's not worth getting worked up about. It probably wasn't an intended feature to begin with, anyway. Hope you enjoyed it while it lasted, but it's time to let it go now.
