Login issues: check this

For those having log in issues, do note that your forum and game login may be different.

Mine are. Completely different at that.

This was a problem in beta too, people trying to log into the game with forum credentials.

Double check youre using the right one. I log into this forum using my email address, my account name does NOT work unless I use rhe handle Im posting with. If I use my game password it wont let me in.

This has been a public service announcement.

They got rid of it.

Not my fault that this was the number one cause of "login information incorrect" during 6 months of beta.

Also not my fault if that is the problem and people are too daft to check, instead sitting here telling me it cant poosibly be them.

It's not that we are typing in the information wrong, we can all login to the account website using the details we used to play the game. I get you're slightly misinformed about what the real problem is but just don't assume things. Get your information correct before you start treating everyone like idiots.

Lol yeah, accounts don't mysteriously change their passwords while we sleep at night. And on the main elderscrollsonline website your login information IS identical to your in game login. This forum is irrelevent, If I can login with my userID and password on the main site I should be able to login in-game.

Take a look at all the threads on the board about this, people didn't suddenly come-down with some sickness causing us all to be unable to type our passwords correctly on the same damn day.
