Website Issue

I am having an issue where the website is in multiple languages, however I have it set for English. I have tried in multiple browsers but come up with the same issue.

That is working as intended for now, @NGGTheory. Our forums are in English, French, and German. The forum categories have a version for all three. What may be easier for navigation is the Categories bar on the right side of the screen, while in the forums.

Is there any chance of having only the relevant sub-forums for each language appearing within the category lists? I understand the logic of having all languages on the front page of the forums, but the subforums may be easier to navigate if they were only 1/3 of the length they currently are.

Lol. Really? Really? If you are going to show all the languages, why even have the option up there? This website lol. Horrid. If you cannot handle a simple request like putting in proper code handles to only show the language selection, oh boy...Might as well not even USE this website, at all. In fact i'll just start shoveling people to an actual website like Tameriel Foundry. Sad that third parties can build a better website than the actual company hosting it.

Dev Tracker is worthless right now, it's full of massive German posts with a few smaller English ones buried among them.

We need a LANGUAGE FILTER and we need it NOW!

Also, who thought a newspaper-column layout was at all useful in a place like Dev Tracker, which is arguably the most important page on a forum like this?

I seriously hope that the "for now" part of that statement doesn't mean "for long".

As of right now, these forums are completely and totally useless for me. Sure, I could wade through the two-thirds of content that the content I'm interested in is buried amid, but it's so frustrating and annoying that I'd rather just go search on a 3rd party website where the developers can manage the content appropriately.

I sincerely hope the forums are a better experience in the future or I simply will choose to not use them at all.

I do hope that soon this forum gets an overhaul, even though it's like brand new.

The "for now" gives me hope that there are bigger plans in the works for a better forum, i just don't like how it currently is.

So, in other words the statement that everyone instantly makes jokes about...that is your response. Really?

Ok, take a second and think about this.

Why did this thread get created? Because people thought it was a bug.

Is it a good idea for a brand new MMO to give the impression that they can't even make their website work? No.

On the other hand, this had led to some great jokes in game. My favorite so far was something like "Did ZOE hire the same people that Obamacare hired to make their website?"

So, if you are ok with becoming the laughing stock of MMOs for not even being able to make a working website, then continue with your "working as intended" stance. Or maybe you could even make it better, put out a big statement saying it's a FEATURE! That'll get people to stop making jokes about you....

These forums are completely worthless as is. I am certain that there are many cogent and helpful posts by my fellow players but I sure can't find them because I only speak ENGLISH. There are filters at the top for languages. Enable them please.
