I want to see, in the people around me, what their names are and their guild. Making it so only one (selectable) guild shows under the name seems a good idea.

Definitely should only be implemented if it's a toggle, so people can toggle them all off.

I need to see the people around me, and know who they are. There is no good way to do that now.

    Especially this for NPCs. I stood in a place over 5 minutes because I had no idea who to talk to when there were 30+ people around me.

    I am proud of my name, and Guild (Strayhold). I would very much like to display them proudly, so that those around could see it (if they so choose to enable the nameplate, of course).

    I would also like to be able to see out of the corner of my eye if a guildie or friend is near, without the need to aim the reticle (that's silly).

    Please? Pretty Please? It's such a huge thing.

    I wouldn't mind this as an option. I personally like not having the name plates up all the time. I kinda like not knowing if some one is a NPC or player right away. It adds a bit to immersion for me.

    I would like to recognize the guild. This is totally obfuscated, which is sad.
