    - Separation of PvE and PvP so abilities aren't nerfed into the ground in one area because of childish whining in the other.

    Ironic...

    A game that doesn’t lag in a 1v1 duel.
A game that doesn’t allow players to exploit 3rd party software and be given their account back.
A game where the devs realize that a few sorrys and less threats for their mistakes in quality control are welcomed.
A game that delivers on its original design of large scale pvp.
A game that doesn’t change classes so badly that they are almost unplayable one patch and OP the next.
    Just to name a few.

The lag has always been real in this game. Terrible compared to gw2 and I used to think that was bad, what with the culling in the early days. RIP what ESO promised to be.

The better question is, "Why do players leave?"

People who are disenchanted are usually PvPers... The solution may be as simple as getting out of Cyrodiil...

The fantastic developers at ZOS do not use PvP feedback when balancing the ENVIRONMENT (the "E" in PvE...) content... This is basically because PvP content has a variable on both sides of the equation while PvE is something which can be controlled by ZOS...
"Clunky combat" is more the result of mistimed attacks than something that ZOS did... If the combat isn't fluid... perhaps more practice is needed... I, too, at first; found combat to be "clunky..." However with practice, I learned not to just mash buttons, which resulted in every other attack being cancelled...
Bugs happen... Thanks ZOS for listening to pertinent customer feedback and working hard to develop a premium product...

Lol...It seems more as if you're trying to convince yourself rather than others. ESO combat is clunky. Spin it anyway you wish, but it is laggy and combat performance is not smooth. Bar swapping delays, abilities and attacks delayed.

"Check your internet connection, check your pc, blah blah blah".

Nah....ZOS stop trying to hard to be different, and instead make combat make SENSE! You cant swap gear while in combat..but but but, what is it you're doing when you "bar-swap"?....SMH...the ignorance and hypocrisy displayed by the white knights in this game is astounding. I'm far from a negative person. ESO has a ton of content to offer, BUT they do need to fix several core components of their game and stop pretending like the slop side of the game doesn't stink.

I didn't quit ...I am enjoying the game rn but to answer your question. So that the game can become better or something that they hoped for.
Criticism is more important than praise.

I haven't played more than 2 hours of ESO in the last 6 months. I left because the servers were terrible, and the gameplay itself was following quite closely behind.

Everyone is too tanky, healing is too powerful, the skill-gap is virtually non-existent and the gameplay is repetitive, simplistic and feels dumbed-down. 90% of the fights feel predetermined, and the game isn't harsh enough on people who make mistakes. It ruins 1vXing in my opinion, when you just feel like nothing you do matters. When nearly every kill/death is "Well, nothing I could do there" or "Nothing he could do there" there's no excitement in it.

Ball-zerging is quite fun, wiping 40 with 12, teamwork, team comp etc. But after awhile it gets stale. You go to the same spots, and do the same things over and over again, and there's no reward for your work. You don't get anything for being #1 in the campaign, for holding Emp the longest, for making the most AP or for being on the best team. On Xbox NA, when I last played the game there were only 3 other relevant groups, so most of the time you don't even get to fight against them. If you're naturally competitive, you want to play against the best—there simply isn't an avenue for that in ESO PvP.

If there was one thing I'd change or add to ESO, I'm torn between wanting two things. On one hand, I'd like a total re-balance of the game that gears it towards fast-paced, skillful and mechanically challenging gameplay which is itself rewarding. If you win a 1v3, you shouldn't feel like it was because of your class, their class, or gear. The outcomes should not feel as predetermined.

On the other hand, I'd love to see a re-vamped rewards system. Something truly massive, something to work towards and aspire for that even the absolute best PvP and PvE guilds have a hard time with. Guild Halls would be a great place to start with this, but it needs to be implemented in a way that you're rewarded for actually being proficient at the game, not like housing where it's just a gold sink. There should also be rewards which are practical, like how about a Siege bag for accounts who've achieved AvA 50. Of course, I also want cosmetic things—such as Custom titles, custom guild specific mounts etc. Perhaps an extension of battlegrounds which allows for 3v3s-12v12s guild vs guilds, you could have the option of just searching for a game, but also have the option of challenging other guilds and entering tournaments.

Why is it so difficult for some to get their head around the option that you might not be playing a game anymore because you're not enjoying certain aspects. But as you've used to have a good time for some years you're still checking the forums hoping for changes that are significant enough to bring you back.

I play for 1 - 2 hours every months or so to establish I'm not having enough fun to invest more time. I'd like to see changes like mentioned before; content being challenging again. But the biggest thing would be to introduce some new weapons. I'd love to go through all 3 faction campaigns again with new gameplay mechanics and new weapons.

Maybe for the 2019 DLC. I hope I'm still allowed to check the forums then without playing the game regularly.

If you were expecting common sense and a fair critique from people who have somehow warped 'mmorpg' into meaning 'single player game' these days, you'll be sorely disappointed.

Its more productive talking to a house brick about rocket science.

We've been stuck in Loading screens ever since

Fixed that for you lol :D

But yeah it was. Wish the reality was that, without some crazy warping around or a loading screen and then finding myself levitating into orbit, or gap-closing into a galaxy far, far away haha.
