So, from the article we get to play on PTS only if we get invite or if we got invite last year. Now, I dont remember anymore if I got invite last year or not, I usually remove old emails. With that said, I preordered summerset few hours after it was announced and we are excited to test the new trial in the PTS with my trial guild, but now its not sure though if its gonna be possible. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Can I get any assistence on that? I wanted to write a ticket to ask on support but there is absolutely no category I could select that would be related to this question. I would really like to be able to participate with my guild mates.

Id like to know this as well, if we have recieved an invitation in the past but accidentally deleted it would we be applicable for getting a new one? As well as for those who havent gotten an invitation before, how does ZoS decide who to pick, like is there a way to sign up or do they pick Streamers/Youtubers, or is it random?

If you currently have the PTS installed, you have a much better chance of getting an invite. Its not a gurantee, it just increases your chances. If you think about it, you will understand why.

Now, if you got an invite last year, you will probably get one this year, And, if it's closed, you will be under, or more than likely under, an NDA

As for any invitations in the past, those don't count. You need to get an invitation for this event. Now, if you got an invite last year, you will probably get one this year, but you still need to use this years invite, not last years. And, if it's closed, you will be under, or more than likely under, an NDA

Thats not really useful. I read the new article zenimax posted before typing this post for the reason its closed beta and for the reason of me not knowing if I recieved invite before.

PS: Based on if PTS is installed or not is stupid. I always uninstall pts after patch goes live just simply because I dont have the space for having PTS on my 1TB laptop full of movies and other heavy games like ARK. I planned to install PTS back purely for going to test in Summerset after the announcement when its gonna happen.

According to the article, if you participated last year, you won't need a new invite:

"Invites will be sent to a large group of new PTS testers, but if you participated in the ESO: Morrowind PTS beta last year, you'll be able to log into the Summerset PTS from the ESO launcher yourself, no invite required! Just don't forget to enable “Show Public Test Environment" from your launcher settings."

They're probably going to tell you just wait and see . Check your email over the weekend . My invite for the closed beta last time came the day before PTS opened but some got it earlier . They didn't respond to threads asking why people weren't chosen last time at all .

My suggestion would be is to log into the pts via the launcher and see if you can get to Summerset Isles, if you were part of the beta last year this is all you need to do.

My beta key for Morrowind is listed in my Account details in my purchase history.

If you wish to receive any emails from ZOS you may also want to check your email preference settings in your account. If you have opted not to receive emails you won't probably receive your Beta invite email.

There's double irony to this, considering the way they do the installer, it actually takes up half as much space to already have it as it will to freshly install it.

And 1TB? Drives are cheap, you might consider an upgrade.

For anyone else reading this; assumptions aside, you can always participate in the PTS, so you'll have access to the base game changes come the 16th invite or not. That's 2h weapons = 2 set pieces, skill changes, etc.

Now this is important, even if you participated in the Morrowind Closed Beta last year, you will also want to complete the starter quest, you can do that now actually. The quest starter is in the crownstore (free) now, no need to wait until the 16th!

How these beta invites work is anyone who was in the beta prior to this is in this one along with the new ones they send out. Now I didi ask @ZOS_RichLambert on the live stream on Friday what about those who purchased it if they are allowed on PTS and he said any person who has pre ordered and or purchased the chapter also has access to the PTS for Summerset.

Only the in-game main quest is NDA.

There won’t be a separate discussion sub-forum like there was for Morrowind.

Even then, the patch note combat changes for Morrowind were posted in regular PTS ... which all had access to.

You missed the part I was talking about LAPTOP. And I dont see irony in it. There is nothing to do on PTS anymore when the patch goes to live server.

ESO Live and the article they said you won't get/need invites though, that if you were in the Morrowind beta you would be able to just log in and play Summerset on PTS.
Seems like too sets of information have been given though, but both end in the same result.

For those who didn't get an invite last year I went to check to see when I got an invite to the closed beta last year and it was on April 17th. So the fact that you haven't gotten one yet doesn't necessarily mean you won't get one this year.

Course, almost everyone who even posted in this thread likely has over 250 days in-game time played and that certainly seems to be a factor, as well as previous PTS participation.
