Summerset Isle's DLC- Looks like a big Destro Ult buff to me?

So for all the talk of how you were going to diversify combat and stop the "tight bunch groups"--
You do realize one of the most common PvP groups is a big ball of Templars, and then a handful of DPS who all stack their Destro Ult's and run around like a train right? - and now your going to allow those Destro users to wear two 5 pieces?

why? because you want to punish everyone who spend hours/days grinding for Maelstrom and Master one handers?

Aside from allowing people to play multiple alliances in the same campaign, I really do believe the Destro Ult was the worst thing to happen to this game, especially in PvP (and probably PVE). Just took skill right out of combat and turned it into "stay alive, stay alive, stay alive--- use an Ult".

. "stay alive, stay alive, stay alive--- use an Ult"

Far as I see it, this is what PVP has always been at a high level, good players need the burst of an ulti to get them to die.

What sets are you afraid of destro users combining that they do not already have access to?

Destro users always use their fire staff, then change to sword'n board or 2 weapons after activation. So no "buff" here.

DDK is the Daggerfall Covenant´s last line of defense on the 30 days no-cp campaign (EU). We intend to fight epic battles in small, casual player friendly raid groups.

Not this again...its really not hard to get out of the way of a destro train precisely BECAUSE they all stack together. Move to the side...they wont follow you, I promise...they will continue to mow down the largest group of players around.

    1. See the destro staff ults go off
    2. Roll dodge twice to the side
    3. Watch the destro train mow down anyone who didnt
    4. Rez the slower people

It takes a minute or two for the train to turn around and come back generally

Out of all the things you could have taken from of the patch notes it's destro ulti buffs?!

Besides all of the destro users already run dw on their front bar. They wont benefit from this change at all.

You might also want to know that destro ult is one of the most powerful counters to those trains. Remove destro ult, train: stays no matter, counter: rip.

Not that i want to comment on more nerf scream threads tho.

We just need less damage done and less healing received whenever players start stacking on top of each other.

1 additonal piece monster set item is big buff for destro ult?

Do you think previously bombers / destro ult was not running 2 sets (5-5-1)?

    L2P issue!

Stam sets like 7th Legion are getting huge buff in pvp with Jewlery Crafting!

Orrrr, get another coordinated group, and Ult Bomb them.

Even Solo as a Bomblade, it's possible to make the train scatter if they're not organized enough.

You need to fight fire with fire.

Or if you have a DK, cherry pick the weaker looking players out of the group as they run away. (Cycle Preferred Enemy Target is a godsend)

Hell, with Silver Leash becoming a pull, any class can use it to pick apart a ball.

Just pop Bats and run at the Storm! Your allies will follow and soon you are chasing that ball back where it came from.

Every bomber build I have ever run involves popping a destro and swapping to a DW bar with 5/5/2. So if removing one bar swap is a huge buff, well alright.

Cyro is a huge open world PVP arena, and like it or not, people are going to stack together. The removal of AOE caps was huge for people wanting to fight big groups while out numbered.

The reality is, if you die to a zerg of destro ults there are only a few possibilies.

    1. You were also in a zerg, and the other zerg out maneuvered you. Most zergs dont seek out individual players to run over, in fact in the good groups, its actually discouraged. They are looking to fight other zergs, in which case this i not an issue.

    2. You made a conscious decision to stand in their way. Outmaneuvering a zerg as an individual player is not a difficult task. Sure we all get caught sometimes playing with fire, but smart players know there is a chance they might get burned. If you see a big group of players pull into a tower, dont stand in the doorway trying for kills. This is a L2P issue for the most part.

The change to 2H is a buff to a lot of things.

destroblobs get by on stacking things that are difficult to mitigate in situations that are difficult to avoid, and having copious purges+rapids on deck.--they don't actually need the stat advantage that the new change offers.

In other words, yeah, some ballgroup DPS builds are getting buffed, but I don't think the practical effect of the 2h-as-2-slots change is going to be noticeably stronger ballgroups.

    +1
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

IMO the destro ult isn't the biggest threat and that became apparent more so yesterday when an Emperor on Xbox NA Vivec decided to try and bomb me at a resource with one other player who tagged along. He failed to kill both of us and ran away almost dying (almost because my take flight of course misses since he ran fast and it didn't connect).
