Am I the only one with this strange recovery bug and total resource vanish?

So I've been having this issue for days and days and days now and It's really starting to kill all the joy in the game for me...

I've tried this out in both PVE and PVP, both CP and non CP............... doesn't matter where i am my resources are a shitshow...

EXAMPLE of what is happening:

3% -> 8% -> 4% -> 10% -> 7% -> 13% Stamina. This happens with Magicka as well, doesnt matter what im wearing either. Bone pirate or not, Eternal hunt or not, hundings and spriggans w/e...

This happens even when I'm STANDING STILL.

NOT ONLY DOES THAT HAPPEN...

But I've seen my stamina RANDOMLY briefly drop from any% down to 10% for absolutely no reason mid-fights... Both PVE and PVP... then it jumps back to the original % again.

What's up with that??? Is it only me experiencing this? Is this some sort of UI issue?

It wouldn't even be such a big deal at first but it just so happens i get to see my character "half-cast" or cast half way through, if you will, but never finish the attack. Same with dodging, i see my character attempting dodge but then nothing happens, i just keep doing some weird dance like a *** cat

All of this happens randomly, I've had days this would be a huge issue and days it would be fine. Any fixes ?

Not sure if was ever fixed but if you have different max Magicka on back bar from front then it steaks Magicka instead of giving it if I recall correctly.

I’ve heard lots of Forum complaints, yet zero complaints in-game and have yet to experience it myself. I’m on PS4 NA and mostly play PvE Mag Sorc/Mag Warden.

I hear gear may have to do with it? I use 2x monster set, 5x Julianos/Acuity, 3x Willpower, frontbar Perfect Asylum Staff, backbar vMA staff. My other setup is 5x Julianos/Acuity, 5x Architect, Perfect Asylum Staff, vMA Staff.
Sets and Max Mag do not change when swapping bars except in terms of Inner Light and Shooting Star.

Idk what’s causing the issue for you and others. Maybe it’s actually platform specific?

The second link has a video of it happening. Ive experienced this, most frustrating in BGs... jump someone on my Stamblade, 2 attacks, target hasnt even recovered from the stun and I hear the "out of resources" sound... bahm, no stamina left. That with 40k+ Stam and 2.4k Stam recovery. Its been happening a lot less than when it first appeared, but still happens.

I would log on and check, but recently every time I log in the sever goes offline.....Hope that bug is not back for people.

This happened to me today, although it might have just been a tooltip error since the actual bar showed full.

All the time. The way you describe it fits me exactly.

Sometimes it charges me stamina for casting or recasting my Netch. I wouldn’t be surprised if that has something to do with it .

New combat system.

Previous updates introduced resources management mechanics needed to keep up your resources (i.e. heavy attacks), now we have random drains.

It's the new heroic difficulty, after veteran and hard mode, the heroic mode introduces random drains, so you have to deal with not having resources in a moment where you might need them.

It's not a bug, it's a feature, to make the game more EXTREME!

Joking aside, my magsorc went from 1 heavy per rotation to 2 heavies per rotation, and I still can't keep my magicka up, even if I heavy during the off-balance window. And that is in content without draining mechanics...

I am also on ps4/NA. I have experienced it in Cyrodil (outisde of combat) quite a bit but only twice in PvE. Both times I was standing still (once in Wrothgar and once in Gold Coast) while I was on a phone call and looked up and saw the resources slowly draining away. It could happen more often but I do not notice it. Several people in my PvP guild have also been talking about it, as well as some text chatter in a PvE guild. Its not frequent, but I think it does happen

I don't know about out of combat, but here it is in combat.

I was running vDSA and at the last round I noticed my stamina would be completely gone by the time I did 2 rotations, so I went to the dummy and tried it out:

Please excuse the choppiness at the beginning, my potato is not for streaming.

Another funny drain would happen was after a bar swap. I knew about the magicka bug that would drain your magicka if it was different amounts from backbar to front bar (and mine is, I have leeching strikes on the backbar, so it's higher), but I didn't know it would drain your stamina.

That one I didn't capture, but I'll try again later or tomorrow.

Stamina sorc. Standard dw setup. Happens now and then while I'm on my bow bar. Get to the end of my bow bar rotation and I'm literally almost completely drained. I'm never watching for this bug so I only notice it at the end of rotation. Don't know if it's on bar swap or one of the 4 skills I use but it does pop up still.

Keep in mind regen is on a two second timer that begins when you log in. It stays on this timer for the entire time logged in (from what I recall on a previous post that I can’t find). Blocking sprinting sneak will temporarily halt this timer for the duration but never stray from the 2 second timer.

You can let go of block right before this timer tick and get resources from regen every 2 seconds. Someone was going to make an addon to track this timer.

This is where I believe the issues are happening. So many times I see resources fluctuate but still on this timer. So I’ll see 2% 7% 11% 8% 14% 10% 17%

I haven’t seen this with magic but don’t pay too much attention.

I have the same bug, and as others have reported it is intermittent and not really reproducible so it's hard to nail down exactly what is causing this.
