Is there a regular schedule on maitnance/downtime?

I have limited time to play and when i finally get to, i hate seing the EU server down - which has happened a lot lately. Is there a set time to when they apply patches or regular maitnance? To me this seems random, and happens both in the evening and morning. I didnt find any usefull help in the "patching" forum. :)

    as far as a regular schedule it seems to vary slightly week to week most likely do to issues requiring attention. norm seems 4-8am monday est/edt

    i dislike having to hunt the forums to see when and why every time myself. advanceds notification in the launcher would be appreciated here

    but also anyime we need to and this last 3 weeks, has seen a lot of "we need to" due to a number of factors from coding issues and hardware etc (some totally outside of ZoS' control)

    Normally maintenance is done on a Monday for PC. However there have been issues with the EU server as of late. Not sure what the go is with the NA server today but I think it could be a preventive measure

    Its on oceanic prime time from 5:00pm till 11:00pm which imo is a load of BS..

    Tbh i only just returned and the fact i can't even play their game most nights i've decided to search for something else to play.. Great one Zeni real smart way to lose customers...

    Yeah i feel you man. But this is out of the ordinary so it will hopefully get better. I never understood the EDT and oceanic prime time and whatever. Is there a calculator for translating this to local time?

    Seeing how long they take, it doesnt matter when they start, it will cover some part of prime play time for some part of the world.
    What are Natch Potes? Can you eat those?

    I have never in my 15+ years in MMO's have ever witnessed the amount of downtime/lack of communication as this one. Good this this is an awesome game and thank goodness i am not a new player, because you would of lost me if I was.

    in my 22yrs I have and it overlaps with your time, EU launch of the unnameable destroyer of the genre :)

    Still, you are right. When the only word from ZOS is that it will last "a couple of hours," it starts to get pretty annoying 6+ hours later when my (Oceania) clock is ticking toward bedtime...

    It's 6 hours because the new chapter is releasing as soon as the servers come back up for those that pre-ordered. Hence the long downtime.

    Also, don't be surprised if the servers need to come down on and off for the first few days. It's always like this when a major update is released.
