Question on title. Can we get worm style material from deconstructing Fang Lair/Scalecaller sets pieces yet or we have to wait till the motif actually drop in dungeon?

✭✭✭✭Yes, I've deconstructed a Withered Hand piece I picked up from a chest in Alik'r Desert a few days and it gave me Grave Dust or something like that, which is the crafting style material for the Worm Cult style. Considering this zone is often the top choice for XP grinders, and set items do drop from random mobs, I expect to see an increase in supply of this material coincident with the event. ✭Yes. As mentioned above, desecrated grave soil has been dropping for several weeks now from certain sets that are in the worm cult style.
Curse eater and withering hand are two sets that I believe are in that style. I actually sold some in traders for a pretty penny because I figured people might think it was "super rare" and snatch it up. Now that market will be gone because it was dropping in the reward boxes pretty regularly for me yesterday during the event.Feric51
