    Hi everyone,

In just a few moments, we'll be taking the PC EU megaserver offline to help correct the login issues some of you have been experiencing today. Downtime is necessary in order to ensure everyone will be able to log in once we fix the issue currently preventing logins/connectivity.

We expect downtime to be an hour or two. Thanks again for your ongoing patience.

    sound familiar? xD

Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

You always says stuff like that but we never get told why that stuff happens.

Because its really important we know technical details about whats going on, it really contributes to the experience /s.

--> I would like to know why such stuff happens, evry other game is gonna say what occured such a big

On a more serious note I think its more important that she forwards it to the team so it can be fixed, than spending time telling us about why it happend.

thanks for the information. but it would have been much better if you told us 2 hours ago that it would be like this for 3 or 4 hours.

anyway, i've been trying the NA server while waiting, and not only it's running perfectly but looks like my ping is better and everything works better. even the fast travel is faster. i really regret now that i picked the EU server thinking that it would be better because i'm on EU.

why is it better on NA server? is there fewer players on NA server?

I feels smoother, but if you look at the ping its higher in average and sometimes you get connection delay issues, but its not often. Usually happens with monsters jumping around, and you do not SEE it have moved until some moments later xD

My ping is generally 180+ on the NA servers, around 40-60 on EU servers

Think I'm gonna make a character on NA server anyway, with EU downtime being such as it is a char on NA will probably get more done anyhoo :D

And what will be the compensation for all the recent problems???

    You're obviously new here.....

Playing since the begininng and strongly waiting for a compensation from ZOS even if i know they don't care at all about old players (only new ones are their target).

And still waiting for an answer about compensation from them because they made AGAIN a terrible mess...

You know, for being an old player, you do not sound very experienced with MMOs

To begin with, for even playing this game, like most other MMO's, you agree to that you will not hold them responsible and will not expect compensations for downtime of the game. If they do it, they do it because they want to, not because they actually need to.

Next, when it comes to technical devices, especially that have thousands of parameters that all have to be perfect for it all to work smoothly like gaming servers, you can never expect 100% uptime. That is completely unrealistic.

Thirdly, only way this would be "their mess" is if they did this intentionally... I'm not going to comment about those wanting to believe that xD

Lets see if we can crash it too ...

Even it is slow compared to other US base game servers, it claims 161ms, my norm for a US based MMO is 80-105ms

I'm really surprised that ZON doesn't add the lost ESO+ game time. I don't care if it's legal or not to treat customers like that, it's just completely unfair and probably leads to a lot of cancelled subscriptions. Honestly I'm not willing to pay anymore for a service like that.

So, do we get any compensation for all these server issues? Especially seeing as this takes away subscription time, which we pay for.

So what was the purpose of the previous maintenance ? To have another one ? If something breaks that often maybe don't invest time & money to fix it because at this point it may simply be un-fixable. Instead invest that time & money to buy new servers...

You should first start a union of eso players, then you have some chance when legally representing the majority. Without it there is no chance for any compensation and they know it ;).

Lol at all the compensation posts.

Compensate you with extending the event so you can moan about low drop rates of WC even longer ?

Compensate you with Crown Crates so you can moan about the low drop rates of Mounts ?

Compensate you with Crowns so you can moan about having nothing in the Store to buy, because all the good stuff is in Crates ?

Yes, thats true but We all pay them a lot of money for this product. Doing so we expect this product to be at very least stable.

I have played MMOs for a very long time and I am honestly not too bothered about loosing eso+ time, or even general gaming time - I can do other things!

Compensation is always nice, but its really nothing I expect ever :)

Also, another thing I came to think about when it comes to eso+ is that ESO is really FREE TO PLAY, which means that ESO+ have no impact whatsoever in your gaming time - it ONLY gives you bonus access to stuff then actually being online. ^^

Anyway, I'm gonna watch some movies while playing on NA servers a while, enjoy!

Yes, except that his is a super sensitive washing machine that requires a certain frequency, a certain voltage, only being used by a limited amount of items of a certain type and only used a certain time limited to seconds and if you mess up either of these things, it will break and will need to be fixed, and you can not wash meanwhile :)
