It's not fair for those who planned something. Not even announced 15min before so that players can finish their dungeon or bg.

Add to that nearly 5 hours yesterday. Plus a server boot for half the players for 40+ minutes in the evening.1 -

✭Having actually managed to get on the pc before 11pm uk time, in eager anticipation of getting all my dailies done, I'm gutted that I now can't get in the game and feel despondent, that I will nvr get all the motif pieces I want in the timeframe given, I hope that we will get an extra day to participate in the Birthday celebrations, we pay to have fun and having looked forward to coming to ESO after a particularly crappy day irl it's disheartening to be dissapointedSometimes, I dream about...cheese...

@ZOS_GinaBruno So is this tied to the ISP problems or another unconnected problem with the EU server? It's a little wearing to have it go down this often for seemingly unrelated but identical issues. While no-one can predict the future, some information on what the issue(s) is/are and what you've done to rectify it/them would help us understand if there's potentially more to come or whether we can breathe a sigh of relief and go back to farming anniversary boxes.The Legendary Nothing0 -

thanks for the information. but it would have been much better if you told us 2 hours ago that it would be like this for 3 or 4 hours.
anyway, i've been trying the NA server while waiting, and not only it's running perfectly but looks like my ping is better and everything works better. even the fast travel is faster. i really regret now that i picked the EU server thinking that it would be better because i'm on EU.
why is it better on NA server? is there fewer players on NA server?1 -

Sadly I can not see that this further 1-2 hour estimate will sit well with the many affected by these issues. In the EU (and others connecting to EU Megaserver), many folk use there mid to late evening personal down time to game. Sure, tonight is only one night and we can find other thinngs to do. Sure, it seems that ZOS (as I have stated elsehwere) is not entirely at fault. Sure, it is unfair to 'shoot the messenger' (you do a good job usually)! With this latest ongoing EU megaserver fiasco though, it is little work figuring out why so many folk are upset.
These official forums are surely used by no more than a tiny fraction of ESO players and only some of those a very 'vocal'. Word gets out though and I can imagine that the reputation of ZOS will be badly affected due to the ongoing problems.
I just hope todays 'firefighting' brings an end to our current troubles (in perspective, of course) is all.

✭✭✭✭✭They might want to realize, that the server can't handle as many players as the events attracts at the moment. They could as well stop spending money advertising the game, as the game can't handle more players than that. You can't have more than you can handle

I feels smoother, but if you look at the ping its higher in average and sometimes you get connection delay issues, but its not often. Usually happens with monsters jumping around, and you do not SEE it have moved until some moments later xD
