Once ZOS has resolved the current problem, will we be given an in-depth analysis of the cause and what has been done to rectify the issue?

✭For those players in the UTC+10 timezone, here's the current experience:
Maintenance has taken away playing time in the 6-10PM time slot on several days this week.
Connection problems have taken away playing time in the 5-7AM time slot.
That rules me out of playing in what would be considered 'normal hours'.

cynaes✭✭✭I would like to add my voice to those that ask for an explanation for the ongoing problems. I'd also like to add how extremely frustrating it is, when you can't login during the event to do some dailies.
Right now, I don't have the feeling as if ZOS is handling this problem in the best way possible. Mainly because of the lack of transparency about what is actually going wrong, but also because it feels as if you just don't care that people are frustrated (please note: I'm not saying you don't care - but that's the way I feel - and I don't want to feel frustrated because of a game, because I get enough of this feeling when I'm at work).4 -

Well said. PC EU is a mess right now and there's no real explanation why. Today's maintenance was meant to fix things. It did not. Now would be the time to explain why.2 -

Too be honest its probably the provider.
I would much prefer the server too be in berlin or in the netherlands. Perhaps its not the servers that needs to be upgraded perhaps its time for them too change provider.
My teamspeak server is in Frankfurt as well and ive been on other games and others servers where they've been in Frankfurt all of them have terrible performance.

Well, I'm running a Celeron2.1 with 4MB ram, onboard GPU and a ye-olde-worlde spinning disk drive.
It works fine (mostly) WHEN I CAN LOGIN.
I also had a Wanquefaqutor Five rig based on AMD 'Black' specs about two years ago. I didn't help with anything.0 -

✭It's actually quite odd to take such a long time investigating..
I work in IT myself, and part of my work consist in investigating various crash and errors.. more often than not, the issue is fairly easy to determine, even if it can take a long time to solve.
My educated guess is that the problem (logging server down or network issues) is located in an infrastructure that is actually outsourced by ZOS. They must not have bought the top tier service package of their provider and thus must wait for input from them.
As soon as that get trough, the issue will solve itself.1 -
The_Antiquarian✭✭✭✭This is disheartening. I finally get my baby son to go to sleep and when I try to relieve some of my daily stress by playing ESO, I get greeted by this "Login timeout" message on my screen for the last two hours.
Having returned to the game after a half-year break, merely two days ago, this is once again, very disheartening.
I am also having a hard time accessing my account page with the following error;
"The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator.
Your support ID is: 2507406365592903052
[Go Back]"

can you please tell me your Network,Storage and Compute requirements for running the EU megaserver? Maybe I can find you some DC space meeting those requirements at lower cost than current one.
Also please provide the peak bandwidth requirements with rtt times to Europe destinations.

Would be nice though,especially for those with limited play-time in the evening's who have missed out.5
