1) Why are there no moderators online stopping this?
2) Why do I have no way of ignoring this player?

GholemSoul ShrivenLook at the name of the person just before superman's message. I saw this last night and it turned out the person prior to superman was the actual spammer.
ie.
[@somebody] zone= message ****?
(may contain white space)
[@superman]zone= WWW.MOARGOLD.COM etc etc
