some MMO's have "zone" and "world" chat options ONLY available in the crown stores.
if you do not have "zone" and "world" chat tickets, then you cannot speak in zone chat, nor world zone chat.

✭✭✭✭I bought the game, and have an ESO account. that should give me posting rights and privileges. Anyone that has a connection to the internet and can type in https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com should be able to read the forums.
Companies have tired previously to lock forum access behind paywalls and they have mostly failed. 90% of the forum users would object the the paywall and then they would all leave to other places like Reddit. If ZOS did implement such a thing all it would do is lose them a ton of good will. They would also lose a tool to gauge player reactions, feedback, questions, etc.
Also what is with your polls and them not having the option that you know everyone would select?2 -

ThIS forum functions as a communication platform between ZOS and some percentage of eso players. The idea to pay - whatever-amount-of-money for it is, itself, ridiculous.
Can I find some info here? Yes and no. The basic info I can find on the main news site. This is a commentary outlet place.
As for game info and help. I can find it on many streamers' and players' blogs..and they don't require fee..if anything..donations to support the players and their work and a free add they do for ZOS.

At most, it should be like other regular MMOs - if you can play the game (bought the game, have an account), you can use the forum.2
