Anniversary Event - Why so unbalanced?

Wrothgar and Gold Coast are on fire during this event. Those two zones are loaded with fellow players calling out groups for world bosses and delves. It's made this event a smash hit in my opinion. I can easily get a good 12 quests in those zones in very little time. And, it doesn't entail me horsebacking across Cyrodiil which is way too large to do dailies with a fast turn around. Swap characters and then you have another 12 dailies...

Wrothgar also has WB dailies - and so many people are doing them you can usually burn it down fast.

While I would absolutely love a PvE Cyrodiil, I don't think they'd do it just for the event. But, I definitely don't believe that removing content that others enjoy would be fair either.
Like a lot of people said, there are a lot of dailies you can do outside of Cyrodiil, especially if you have a lot of the wayshrines. I would definitely agree with AlnilamE, except to add that checking the Fighters Guild daily is a good idea, at least to see what you get. I know that Alik'r Desert, Auridon, Deshaan, Rivenspire, and Shadowfen are all definitely pretty quick if you have the wayshrines. Some others are probably good, too (Bangkorai, Grahtwood, and The Rift).

When I read "why so unbalanced", I thought you were referring to some people getting a lot of Worm Cult motifs, while others can go hundreds without any.

For that, I had two considerations/questions:
(A) Are people are sure that other motifs and drops are diluting the Worm Cult chances? Not sure if it was my first or second one, but I distinctly remember that when I got the Worm Cult chapter, I got that and a different motif chapter, not instead of one, which means that Worm Cult might be in addition to the "rare crafting item" (unless it's just proof that the first one you get is just them giving it to you separately).

(B) Are people that are getting a lot of WC motifs getting them from certain dailies more often? (Which may even be the PVP dailies). A lot of people are counting the writs as a bunch of their boxes, but I'm wondering if certain dailies have their own chances to drop the motif (ex: if the weekly trials quests have a higher chance, and writs are super low). Not sure what all the data-miners and add-on creators can see, but all the rewards being called "Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box" might not mean they're the same.
In the Gold Coast, I completed Common Good, and Looming Shadows. Both containers are called "Gold Coast Daily Contract Recompense", but of course, only the one from Looming Shadows has a chance for the Minotaur motif.

Am trader. Can confirm I plan to buy out every cheap motif and sell for a 200% or more markup in like a month when people who missed the event decide they want it. So buy it now before I steal your money.

I think this is correct. There seems to be at least three drop tables involved. There's a Worm Cult drop. There's a Transmutation Crystals drop. There's a "normal" motif / furniture design / recipe drop. And, there seems to be a material drop.

The Worm Cult and normal Motif drop tables also seem to have style stones to go with them. I'm not 100% certain it doesn't query the Material table twice, if nothing else pops. (I haven't kept meticulous records.)

That said, the crystals and worm cult drops can absolutely go missing from a box, and I've only seen one box pay out four items.

Isn't that what we're told would happen if we had an auction house system instead of the present guild trader system

Difference is almost 50k right now. People are listing Worm Cult for 50k (and less), while the flippers are relisting it for over 100k. If they could easily track down every motif at less than 60k, you wouldn't see them at that price at all. Instead you may need to poke around to find the pages, but they're certainly available.
