main reason is appearance. secondary reason used to be having to feed, but now that I have bloody mara recipe, I can live with that, so... basically its the looks. I spend way too much time in character creator to have all my careful choices ruined by veiny paleness and red eyes
and no, skins don't fix it, becasue skins ALSO change my character creator choices. I just want to play a character that looks exactly as i have designed it

Sadly, I have no gameplay reason. Vampirism is OP AF. I just can't stand the appearance. I didn't make my character sexy so that they can look like a damn troll with vampirism.

I'm really not sure why vampirism wasn't given any meaningful gameplay drawbacks. It's insanely strong and gives you no reason not to use it.

im a werewolf already

I'm a werewolf - but mainly because when I don't want to be a werewolf, I can ignore it completely. Actually I forgot I was a werewolf until I looked at my character sheet recently.

If i'm a vampire, I have to always have the debuffs and weakness to fire. Do you know how much fire there is in this game?

:'( you remind me often... I haven't completed the dragon bones achievements for skin so ...I can look normal again. At last some my characters aren't vampires.. because ... yeah it's ugly.

P.S I told you guys so.. there would be more vampires after morrowind -_- . Nobody believed me in now with us vampire apocalypse .

I have one vampire alt. And for my other characters, their backstory is not made for bloodsucking, so they won't be vampires. Since "does it fit the backstroy?" is the only consideration that matters to me in this question...

I am a vampire on a couple characters becuase I like the passives and also the RP of having those characters as vampires... but the rest NO, I like the way my characters look and put time into creating them, i don't want to ruin them all with the generic vampire look.

Ironically, it was pretty cool in Skyrim.

Pretty cool in ESO for different reasons. That said, most of my non-vamps are werewolves.

The idea of Vampirism doesn't sit well with me for the majority of my characters.

Plus it looks like garbage, and I don't like being Dawnbreaker bait.

Yeh, I'm in the "because dawn breaker wrecks you in PvP" camp.

For pve on my saptank it's great though.

I mainly play ESP like a single player so it would not make sense, plus I doubt I would care about for the visuals and have never been incapable as a class to need bonus perks. So I am good playing as a good old regular Breton.

because dawnbreaker no longer is that op like years ago against undeads, it is now hitting undeads barely noticable if even than normal people

Vamp is almost mandatory for MagTemps and MagDks active in PvP to have at least some mobility. To all other builds the benefits are fairly minor.
