    I'm happy about the Combustion buff, will help with sustain especially when running BSW. Still would've liked to see a cost reduction to Eruption and a slight damage buff.

    I mean, I still don't understand why Cauterize is some weird unreliable hybrid HoT/Burst heal that can't be targetted. If they want to make healer DKs a thing, they need to be able to better control their healing.

    Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

    Honestly, kind of disappointed. The sustain seems OK. But is useless against shields or other dunmer.

    The wings change is awful. Wings base still sucks. The 0.1s of snare free life isn't enough to drop mist. 4s removal and I might run it. But wings as a reflect still sucks.

    They are cramming healing down our throats, and it doesn't seem incredibly useful for PvP, cauterize I used as a solo HoT because its so cheap and saved me mag. Its still awful for a group heal. 1 person every 5s. If you are in a dungeon, you don't need it. If you are in a trial, its laughable. Burst heal cinderstorm is interesting, but they should just have returned it to prior, and made cauterize the pbAoE burst heal. Obsidian shart is still useless. Obsidian shield got (over a few patches) crystal blasted. Nerfing one and moving the effects.

    I don't like fire and forget abilities. If, for example, Cauterize was made targettable similar to to the NB HoT, and made into a true HoT that proc'd every 2 seconds instead of every 5, it would not only continue to work for your tank build, but it would also become an overall better ability for active healing.

    Reasons to come-back to magDK:

    1) Two-Handed as two pieces set.
    -BSW/Sun/Zaan and BSW/ElfBane/Zaan builds coming.
    2) Combustion passive gives magicka or stamina when applie poison or burning.
    -Finally, the biggest problem for magDK getting fixed.
    3) New Skill: Acceleration, Minor Force.
    -Magicka “rearming trap” coming. This will be a MUST in magicka rotations.
    4) New jewelry traits: Infused and Bloodthirsty.
    -In magDK, Infused/Cost Reduction could be great; but Bloodthirsty could be usefull too, since DK doesnt have finishers, but lot of DoTs.

    5) Minor reasons: LA buff, Empower rework, and Stams build getting nerfed as hell with NMG and Sunder being rapped.

    You are mixing things up here.

    Example:
    2h counting as 2 setbonis mean that you can run a BSW flamestaff on your frontbar with 3 jewelrypieces. The staff counts for 2 bonis and the jewelry for the other 3 = 5 setbonis from BSW (this sets 5pcs buff is a proc, meaning when it proced the effect stays with you for the duration, ecen when you barswap). Meanwhile you can still run a vMA backbar.

    actually yea it did help me out cuz I thought they were meaning that if you run two of the same swords that would count which I thought was already the case, so if I have it right they just making the change to the way 2 handed weapons work rather than all weapons?

    I think this is a start near the right direction I'll have to see sustain with the burning effect for my own eyes. Still disappointed about battle roar this should really be reverted back and bam dk is fixed and not at all OP.

    No you dont need a snare immunity because it would be too strong. The only way to not die to a magdk is to kite him. Your suggestion of 4s immunity will just make it impossible to snare mag dks, not to mention you can't even get 4s with 7 medium armor pieces.

    In fact, not only magicka, but also stamina DKs. But as far as I know, it's not meta yet, so "useless trash".

    Please no. Targeted heals like Malevolent Offering (NB) or Natures Grasp (Warden) are awful. They're super clunky to use and quite often you get the wrong target.

    The only issue I have with Cauterize is the proc time. Make it every 3 seconds for 15 seconds or make it every 4 seconds for 20 seconds. 15 seconds and every 5 seconds feels too weak and unreliable imho.

    they don't make them great again they making them demigods again...pls remove dks from the game i regret ever saying "save mag dk cuz they useless" and stuff...this has gone for far 2 long.

    IDK, a lot of people say they are useless but I actually stopped playing my sorc to play my dk, he is a lot of fun & I think that not counting the pet build I can survive longer as well as fighting bigger groups with him as well so definitely don't think they should get rid of the class as a whole, if anything they should make them even with everyone else, also it would be cool to see them at least accepted in group pve stuff again.

    Completely disagree. They aren't clunky at all. The so-called "Smart" healing system is way more clunky than being able to target your heals.

    But agree that, at a minimum, need to shorten the time between Cauterize procs to make the ability behave more like a true HoT.

    I like the changes. I don't play MagDK much, but I might have to start if it's a good as it sounds. Really they should be top DPS given that they are the squishiest melee class in PVE. They wear at least 5 light armor (lowest mitigation), don't have blade cloak (like stamina), don't have time to react to mechanics like ranged, don't have major Ward/Resolve built into their DPS rotation (like nightblades), don't have any shields better than other Magicka classes, and they don't even get a passive health increase (like pet Sorc and NB). It's just a shame that the most glass-cannon build has been lacking in the "cannon" for so many months.
