Consoles didn't have a maintenance so I can't say.

hmm for me so far kinda, but we have to count in that there are a lots of things in the drops (golden resins, flowers, enchants, motif pages all of them even full books) so It wouldnt be rare if they would have included fewer motifs (prob lets say, they would have only added the ones after Morrowind ones into the loot table at least it would be a little bit less rarer)

But yesterday i got much more motifs then today, yesterday almost every box i got have atleast 1 motif sometimes even 2, today i got 18 boxes in a row without any motif.

Still not complaining, got some nice motifs for little effort.

I was actually lucky enough to get Worm Cult Belts motif page with my 3rd box. After that I've opened 12 boxes in total and I have to say that I've been quite pleased with the drops. Free stuff is always nice ;].

I thought it is just my RNG - I received significantly less motifs and patterns than yesterday. But... we have another maintenance now, maybe the drop will be restored?

2 WC, 2 silken, 0 BA, 0 dreadthorn, 0 bloodforge which are what i need to complete motifs.

in total 24 motifs, most i have already and low priced easily attainable motifs. box count forgotten, not as many as most i'm only doing craft writs on 1 character and guild, clockwork dailies among 4 characters.

Too time consuming, grindy and pitiful drops rate zos!

I'm 2 days into this and I want to *** die.

I've not been keeping track of how many i've done but I'd probably say I've done close to 100. 1 WC motif and its daggers.

Had some decent ones though Blood forge, BA, Redoran. Not ecstatic but it will do. still a while to go.

Yeah, there’s some underlying factor here. I’ve opened 180 boxes over 2 days, and only got 1 page from the very 1st box. At this point, I don’t even count the “Box#1 gimme”, and it feels like I should’ve cracked the RNG at least once in 179 F’ing boxes. I even thought maybe the book on the dock had to be read and cake eaten or something. Didn’t change anything. SMH @Zos.

I came back to the game for this for the first time this year in order to grind out this motif and I gotta say, I find absolutely nothing about this event fun or enjoyable. Half the time I was getting error 303 every 3rd or 4th time I changed areas and ya cant blame it on add-ons because I just reinstalled the game this week on a new SSD with nothing on it.

Personally I play games for enjoyment and want to feel satisfied with the time invested, and this... just is not it. Maybe I will look again around Summerset but right now I hate this and have zero desire to work through it.

Yesterday I got motifs in 66% of my boxes, today I got motifs in 0%. Rng is not with me today. I did get plenty of high price mats, recipes and patterns so I still can't complain.

In my second anniversary box, I got Worm Cult Boots.

I also got a Dwemer Helmet Motif which surprised me.

By the way, I have opened like three on 6 different characters today.

Update from my earlier post today:

Completed about 120 boxes today, across my 14 characters, and zero WC pages.

So, with yesterday's efforts, that puts me at around 260 boxes. I have had only 2 WC pages pop, and in the first couple of attempts yesterday. No WC pages since. Same as others are reporting.

Is it over yet?

Day two. 175 boxes open. Still only ONE Worm Cult page found. I don't much care if I get BA pages or Akaviri or something. In the context of this event they are utter trash since they are diluting (are they?) the drop rate of the EXCLUSIVE motif which can only be found now.

I can farm Ancient Orc, BA, Telvanni, Dreadhorn etc. all year long. I cannot farm Worm all year long. The drop rate on these is proving to be totally absurd. I'm guessing the event will end with me sitting on two, maybe three pages tops.

As of tonight; damn near 350 boxes, 3 WC motifs, a couple others, but not many.

Conclusion: I saw the writing on the wall and bought the rest today for about 520k.

My luck, they will quadruple the drop rate tomorrow lol.

Seems to be rare, AND front-loaded.

On this account, I got 2 worm cult pages in my first 10 boxes. Since then, i've opened over 300 boxes and i haven't gotten any more WC pages. Plenty of other motifs/mats/recipes/patterns, but no worm cult.

On my alt account, which consists of 8 level 8 toons parked in Dreloth tomb, I did one set of crafting dailies on one character. first box, worm cult axes page.
