beetleklee✭✭✭✭I got the Legs in my first box. Don't remember how many dailies I did, but I did writs on all my characters except my level 3 one (who couldn't, guess you have to be a certain level) and one character I did all the Vvardenfell dailies, both Gold Coast bosses, pledges, Bolgrul's delve, and mages/fighters guild dailies. Then it was late and I went to bed lol.
The Worm Cult legs are the only ones I got but I got a ton of other motifs, most of which I didn't have yet, so I'm very happy so far.PC NA

One is the transmutation crystals, which will appear first in the list
The second is the Worm Cult motif or the Grave Soil style material, which will be third.
To my knowledge, you can't have both the transmutation crystal success and the Worm Cult success in the same box.
So if you're ignoring your Grave Soil drops, you're under-reporting your Worm Cult results. And although Grave Soil could be deconstructed from Worm Cult pieces as of Update 17, it's still necessary for the style material to adequately drop in the boxes to increase quantity supplied.
What I'm thinking is that if you wind up with 140 to 160 Grave Soil, you've proportionally opened enough boxes to find 13 to 15 motif pages. Which is a lot of boxes, but you're racking up a lot of crafting material along the way, too.
I'm not chasing the style because I won't use it. And that's really the only difference between a niche style like Worm Cult and a niche style like Hollowjack or Skinchanger. The perception of rarity makes Worm Cult feel more desirable, and the motif cost inflation that occurred with the Outfit system makes it feel more valuable. But on the other hand, how many would be genuinely interested in the motif if it (or the style material) dropped in nearly every box?

✭I just hit 100 boxes and have gotten one Worm Cult motif -- on my first box.
I haven't read the full thread but, given what I'm seeing in guild chat, I'm waaay below average.
Fortunately, these things appear to be dropping like candy for everyone else so they should be cheap when I go 1 for 1200.0 -

Agreed. I got 1 page last night and bought about half the others. I'll buy the missing ones tonight after I see if I get any more from today's dailies.

PLEASE stop with the extremes and artificial rarity... We can have something between "sit in a delve and spam heavy attacks to get free lootz" and "do 200 dailies and then gfy; try again tomorrow scrub".
Also, it doesn't make it "fun" when you have to rely on luck during a limitied duration event.

I'm a dedicated collector, so I'm after every motif, no matter how beautiful it is. I just want all of them. Also, I'm chasing furniture plans, so motifs are vital for my master writs.
Insightful on Grave Soil. I get a lot of it.
As for the Worm Cult... Well, I give up. I did a lot of dailies today atop of 8 toon crafting, and got no pages. I guess, Worm Cult is for the rich.
