Does anyone else think that having an ESO expansion containing Summerset's main Island is kind of weird? I'm not, at all, saying that I wouldn't enjoy the chance to explore the island, because I certainly would. I just find it odd, because I have been under the impression for years that the main island is essentially and ethnostate! That non-elves are not allowed on the Island, and even then only Altmer. I'm pretty sure that there are even some AD NPCs and some lorebooks that mention it as a ethnically pure region.
However, I am a huge fan of Arena, and I suppose that the island must not be a complete ethnostate, at least not during the mid to late 3rd era. Perhaps the expansion will bridge the theoretical gap between ESO and Arena, from a lore perspective, because in the 3rd era, a Breton like me was able to freely wonder all of Summerset without much problem. On the other hand, there really was no lore when Arena was made.

I breathe now, in royalty, and reshape this land which is mine. I do this for you, Red Legions, for I love you.'" The Many Headed Talos - Michael Kirkbride
