Is there a reason two towns are close to ad that can be captured while there is only one north

Ad has two towns close to are home keeps while there is only one that can be captured by dc/ep home keeps chorrol and shadenhall should be made the other towns that can be captured since this anniversary event is going on the two towns close to ads home keeps really put us at a disadvantage since ep and dc are doing dailys there for the boxes will this ever be corrected

I don't think so if that be the case then what would be considered ads forth home keep brindle and dragonclaw is DCs forth home keep maybe your right but still the position the towns are in makes ad at a disadvantage are home keeps are more open to be captured from both sides then ep/dc home keeps I just suggest they make chorrol or shadenhall one of the other towns it wasn't well thought out if you ask me

It works both ways. Capturing the towns is also nice for staging an attack on these keeps, especially if you flag them simultaneously. I agree though the ride is a bit long.

Having 2 close towns has pros and cons.

The terrain around all 3 alliance's home keeps are not perfectly balanced, either. That's okay too. It's open world PvP with no real long term consequences and emergent strategy, not an esport.

Hit space twice and it will put in a period. You are welcome.

In order for everything to be equal, Bruma needs to be moved further west and Cropsford needs to be moved further north. The current system puts AD at a disadvantage for sure.

Edit: every team has 1 "fringe keep" these are Dclaw, Drakelowe, and Brindle. Each of those is owned by an alliance and AD is the only one with a potential enemy spawn point behind their fringe keep. So Cropsford needs to be north of Drakelowe and Bruma needs to be West of Dragonclaw just like Vlastrus is south of Brindle.

Lol yeah probably I knew the three but didn't realize roe and brindle was considered ad home keeps that even makes it worse tho cause that puts ep close to alessia and DC close to roebeck ugh I just wished they would reconsider the whole town thing and rework it lol this anniversary thing happening right now is crazy crops yesterday flipped a ton I was there trying to do guest and while I was ep kept trying to take it over and over again ad had ep gated at the time so I guess they was trying to get a foothold down south or something to pull ad back I understand it just don't like it lol

Either this or just add chorrol and shadenhall as a town that could be captured I mean if would still be a long ride but it would be fair keep vlastrus as a town that could be captured but move it more north in a fair position that would make it equally as far for DC and ep to capture make chorrol where it can be captured and make shadenhall where it can be captured

Regardless of which keeps belong to who, he is right. In order to be balanced Cropsford should be west or north of Drakelowe.
    - Bruma is south and slightly west of Dragonclaw (slightly DC placement)
    - Vlastarus is south of Brindle (completely AD placement)
    - Cropsford should have a placement closer to EP

you will note that 97% and Greater of the time you are in cryodiil that EP owns both Cropsford And Drake, showing it red on the Map.
that is a constant event that you can count on, because those are both EP Territory.

Easy to say that when 2 of the towns are close to AD trikeeps/gatekeeps.

Check how far Bruma is from Warden/Rayles and especially how far Cropsford is from Farragut/Kingscrest and say again that the towns are balanced. How delusional are you trying to defend this?

Aside from hyperbole about the percentage of time EP maintains ownership of Drake, what was inaccurate here?

He didn't even defend it, per se, just stated that Crops is in EP territory.

Which it is, as anything north of the Upper Niben River (ya know, that river that runs from Lake Rumare to Bravil and then off the map?) is EP homeland. Crops is north of the Niben, so yeah, EP territory.

Is it the most distant of the towns from a friendly keep? Yes. Is it very near the AD / EP border (the River)? Yeah, it's pretty close.

Its placement is the unfortunate side affect of the map being designed when towns were never initially meant to be spawn points, plus trying to maintain some fidelity (if only a little) to the Cyrodiil map from TES IV: Oblivion.

Due to the amount of effort it would take with regards to map design to move Cropsford, I seriously doubt it'll get moved, either.

And yes, Cropsford is the most 'out there' town. Bruma and Vlast are both closer to their own respective outpost keeps and allow for deeper access into their owner's home territory when taken than Cropsford does. That's just reality.

OTOH, we're stuck with the dumpster fire of a keep that is Kingscrest, so there's that when it comes to how much map BS that EP has to put up with as well. (Who builds a keep next to a cliff instead of on top of it? WTF?)
