How are these people chosen? I realize some (e.g. @Woeler, @Alcast, etc.) are chosen due to their existing and ongoing work in terms of build creation and other theory crafting, but how are the other testers selected?

    With the Morrowind testing, one thing I remember them saying is if a person was active in past PTS cycles, they were more likely to be chosen, or something like that.

    Does ZOS invite streamers like LZH and Fearturbo? If not, it strikes me as a significant miss to not include players who are at the absolute upper echelon of game play, particularly when "balancing" is being discussed.

    Wait, are you asking about actual legit Beta testing, or the event they just had where a couple of people got to go test it early for a little bit? Because those two things are not technically the same thing.

    No, I'm referring to community involvement in the testing process.

    I got picked last year and I'm no one special c:, granted I posted a ton of feedback and participated in discussions just so I didn't look like I took advantage of the offer.
