Please don't get your hopes up and then spam the forums crying and moaning how unfair ZOS is and how stupid the event was because you didn't get that ultra rare motif complete set or whatever it is else you will complain about. It's just an event you might get something cool or you might not each time you do daily. SO, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF THE GODS DO NOT EXPECT TO GET ANYTHING OR EVERYTHING YOU WANT!
If you don't get what you want shrug your shoulders and go on about your day. Remember you started this event with it costing you nothing and you will end the event it costing you nothing. Oh and also please do not complain about any guild merchant pricing flux due to event.
It costs plenty of mats for crafting, not to mention time.
if you're talking about amassing mats as well, for the crafting, that I could agree with, however, doing all 6 writs on a char, takes me less than 10 minutes, and even on 15 chars, that's less that 2 and a half hours, to pick up 90 gift boxes...fewer chars would be fewer boxes, but also less time spent as well...
PS: lotsa quick and easy gold & XP with the buff too, as a side benefit...for a level 50 char, gold will be between 3.5 and 4k per char..15 chars is about 50-60k...and the XP is roughly the same, around 4 to 4.5k per char under normal circumstances. Now, you add the 100% XP buff, and it's about 8-9k per. If you do them when your enlightenment has just renewed, it's about 35k, per char and that's only 10 minutes each. You'd actually run out of enlightenment before you did all 15 chars, but you'd get most of 'em in. Gold still stays the same tho', so IMHO, a pretty good and easy deal, with gift boxes on top of it...
Then, after you've gotten your fill, you could then start on the more time-consuming delves, pub dungeons & dolmens, for more boxes
I've gotten my writs down to about 5-6 minutes. So looking at less than an hour and a half, personally.

What does it do ?
Infinite quests is stuff like the thief guild jobs, you can do it and pick up an new at once.newtinmpls wrote: »I have a concern:
The rewards: Throughout the event, any daily or weekly quest you complete will earn you an Anniversary Gift Box (in addition to their regular rewards). These reward boxes contain crafting materials (ore, ingredients, runes, etc.) and a single rare crafting item (Nirncrux, style items, motif pages, etc.) Note: Gift Boxes cannot be earned by completing infinitely repeatable quests.
aren't dailies infinitely repeatable quests?
I think it just means if you can repeat the quest as often as you like back to back then it doesn't count. Dailies do have a restriction on repeating, you have to wait for reset.
I don't know that there are any truly unrestricted do as many times as you want quests, but that's still my reading. Regular daily quests did count for boxes last year.
I read the Adventure Book and have completed the Mages quest line....but how do I use the book to find the dailies?.....sorry if this is a stupid question...lol
