Most Disappointing Cash Shop I've Ever Seen

"Items that are sold completely destroy in-game immersion. Everyone is lit up like glow sticks and even their mounts are on fire like this is some how normal to see."

"But it sure as *** is impossible to do even that when I need to drop thousands of dollars to get a single mount"

Which is it? Do you hate the glowy radiant apex mounts? Or do you wish you had one?

I mean, it's definitely on the pricey side overall, and some of it goes from "pricey" to "so absurdly overpriced compared to the competition it's hard to comprehend" (looking at you, $15 per-character outfit slots), but it's far from the worst out there. I'd put it a full standard deviation above the average in terms of pricing, but there are a whole lot of games that take that as a challenge.

I agree. It's horribly done and managed and way over priced.

You don't need a specific mount. You don't need anything from the crown store. You want those things.

Where in my post did I say I needed this. I dont need to play this game. I don't need to do anything except breath, eat and drink water.

I am against crown store, because it is a gamble. You, sir, choose to gamble. Please, stop crying about gambling being rigged.

To be honest, I think you (OP) are yet to see a disappointing cash shop in an online game. ESO Crown Store is very friendly compared to lots of other cash shops. Let me give you an example.

ArchLord - although official servers are now shut down - has, for years, had a cash shop that looked something like this:

    - Potions that increased your movement speed, attack speed, damage, health, etc, and were far superior to anything available in-game
    - A "Combination Potion" that gave you all these bonuses in one single potion, I think it also stacked with the potions above
    - Experience scrolls only available in the cash shop
    - Wings that increased your movement speed, only available in the cash shop
    - "Lens Stones", a type of consumable that decreased your skill cooldowns and made your attacks stronger and faster, only available in the cash shop
    - Mounts that were (as far as I remember) superior to base game mounts
    - Pets that automatically picked up loot for you

Also, lots of these items mentioned above could be traded with other players for in-game money with zero consequences. Using these cash shop items made you feel like a demi-god compared to playing without them. Talk about P2W. I'm pretty sure lots of other games have cash shops that make the game P2W, ESO is not one of them. Everything here is purely cosmetic and/or alternatives that are inferior/equal to base game items. I do have to say, the base game mounts and pets are extremely boring and have been the same since the game launched, at least they aren't inferior in terms of gameplay to Crown Store mounts.

Please note, this wasn't meant to compare ESO to ArchLord or any other similar MMORPG. I'm talking about the cash shops only, just to give you an idea about how different they are.

Yea ignore the cash shop and enjoy years of neveresearch getting g that motif you want due to horrible rng geared to make you want to pay for it or never get a cool mount cause you have to fork over 20 dollars or 1000
