Rings of Mara

Very, very much wanting to know if you must wear the Ring of Mara to get the experience bonus. Firstly, I want to be able to wear two rings that give me bonuses without having to have Mara's. And second, my wife deleted her character while wearing her ring and so we are hoping she doesn't have to have it.
While I'm at it, does anyone know whether rings are account-wide, or just for those characters?

Tiyamel✭✭✭Rings are bound to your character once the ritual is used, cannot then transfer to another character, need to wear it and be partying with Mara partner, if your wife deleted her character while wearing ring she has then lost it, she will need to submit a ticket to customer services to try and recover it, also if she has no ring yours has no effect since they are tied to both charactersGuild Master of Lost Prophecies, small group of friends playing in Ebonheart Pact, recruitment only accessible through playing with us and making a good impression.
