Guild Alliance change, can it be done?

I’ve already submitted a ticket but I’m not sure how long it will take to be answered, my guild is currently DC and we want to move to AD so that we can wear our tabards and claim keeps, plus trying to recruit AD players to a DC guild hasn’t been successful, everyone in the guild is happy with the change but as far as I’ve heard it can’t be done, now I know you can change t he name of the guild BUT has anyone had any luck changing the alliance? Any positive help would be appreciated, thank you!

You can change your guilds alliance by having your members re-roll on a different alliance. It's not terribly uncommon for guilds to do this. It's the only way; ZOS doesn't want to offer alliance changes.

The members are already AD we want the guild itself to be an AD guild, as in the guildies are all different alliances and thats fine but to wear our tabard we need to change the guild alliance in general, I hope that makes sense, I’ve already considered making a new guild and moving them over but with so many members I feel I would lose some in the switch

I would start a CS ticket on the website and see where it leads. Be sure to be assertive on following up on the canned responses ... until you get an actual human.

One of my PvP guilds currently runs AD with a DC guild alliance tabard. However, there was no need for officers to change the guild alliance since it doesn't affect gameplay in any way.
