Yup, without that stun, we don't have any reliable cc anymore. So we won't be able to pressure an opponent or set up our burst
Well, I always wanted to learn how to play a Stam char in PvP. Guess it's time to respec to StamDen
If they remove the stun, mag warden will be the worst class in pvp. They would become completely useless as a damage dealer. Honestly it's rather difficult to kill and experienced player right now as it is.

Yeah, but what about a 60% increase on a fire, shock or poison damage glyph? Those are between 3 and 4K usually, so the jewelry glyph adds another 1.5 to 2k. It's more burst.
If it's anything like armor infused, it's only going to add 60% increase to the enchant on the jewel and nothing else. Will need to test when pts comes out but that is my assumption on how that will work.
None of the enchants look OP; all have specific conditions and some of the stronger ones might have more expensive mats that are required.
this is the only way it could work, i mean i dont understand how you (Feanor) could think it would impact your weapon enchant when it is clearly a jewelry trait, we already have infused for weapons.
my problem with this is that this posts, https://www.reddit.com/r/elderscrollsonline/comments/89e1in/summerset_update_18_teaser_a_recap_of_last_weeks/ says he could get the cost reduction enchant up to 600 resource reduction, this seems impossible as the gold 160cp cost reduction is only 203 and 60% more is only 122 so 203+122 is only 325 cost reduction. they would have to bump up the cost reduction to ~400 for that to make sense.

He must've meant on all 3 pieces of jewelry
Yea you can reduce the cost by a good chunk breton seducer alteration and pretty sure they never fixed it so it still heals through walls.MalakithAlamahdi wrote: »

This would make sustain on magicka sorcs even more difficult because ranged DDs barely block attacks.
Even with Witchmothers mag sorcs struggle to sustain their rotation. Mag NBs can sustain with blue food and pull more dps. This way its getting real simple for ranged builds, mag NB or GTFO...
The change to Lightning Flood is cute but whats the point if sorcs cannot sustain it?

What do you guys think of the dark cloak change? I do hope they take into account that a class burst heal that triggers the shadow passives is not a good idea if you think of heavy armor troll king stamblades. That way it's a no brainer between FM and Rally. I get they want to throw NB tanks a bone. But still, I hope they do adjust it with PvP in mind.
I like how no one mentioned the big buff ball group magplars got.
You'll live in your trailer house and you'll like it, or else!Joy_Division wrote: »

Judging from the tooltip wording, that stuff is going to stack and you are going to like it lol.
But knowing this game, pts testing will show that the the execute scaling DMG from bloodthirsty will replace all other execute scaling
I’m... stupefied by the things ZOS does without thinking things through.
A hardened ward shield nerf? Really? You’re basically forcing every sorcerer to shield stack now, and killing the builds of the few of us who only ran hardened ward. Revert that. It’s not needed.
Empower grants 40% to light attacks... I can’t wait to get in game and put on queens elegance and light people up with 20K+ empowered overload shots. Again. Not a smart change at all, they seriously need to rework overload before doing this.
Swap the damage between overload heavy attacks and light attacks. Problem solved.

This passive change is complete garbage if not reverted. Sustain is freaking horrible for Sorcs. I can’t remember the last time I wore an actual damage set in PVP. It’s all max resource resource and sustain sets now, just to be able to play the game.
Kindly stop trying to make us all tanks Eric. Thanks. We’re wizards. We want to cast spells. We don’t ever use block as a ranged DD, we use shields instead. Why would we ever block except when someone uses an ultimate on us?

To be fair, those heavy armor troll king stamblades already have enough healing. They’d be stupid to give away invisibility for a weak ass 32% heal that gets halved in cyro.

- Empower nerf kills DW builds.
- Hardened Ward: I just spoke w/ Ixy, he mixed up the ward morphs & some wording. According to his explanation, Conjured Ward (the base morph) had a strength buff, Hardened Ward had a nerf on is % strength bonus, and Empowered Ward had a slight buff so it's now 10% weaker than the new Hardened Ward. Unclear on whether Hardened Ward remains equivalent to Live or not...
- Persistence rework: The cost reduction effect is nice, but it's barely a recompense for the nerf last year that removed sorc's 10% cost reduction to Storm Calling abilities.
- Rune Cage: Dmg guarantee = good, but changing the duration to 5 sec is a sneaky way to mess up the ability to time this now guaranteed dmg w/ Curse. Rune Cage on live is 3 sec (w/ the current form of Persistence passive), which means if it was given guaranteed dmg, you could sync it w/ Curse through just Curse -> Rune Cage. (Edit: Nvm, after watching Shimmer's more in depth video, rune cage dmg is instant if they CC break)
- Daedric Mines: Cost reduction is long overdue, just look at what it costs on live!
- Bound Armor: No longer increasing heavy atk dmg is a nerf. And not being a toggle (finally) is nice, but you're only getting the resource boost on the bar it's slotted on.

NB won't be able to sustain with blue food, they're increasing the cost of Strife to match Force Pulse

I just watched Shimmer's video and it appears they are changing the Persistence passive in this way while attaching the 20% duration buff it provided to Dark Magic skills to the skills themselves.
So unless I missed something, Unholy Knowledge stays the same. Was worried there for a moment.
