    Actively collecting books is really only needed if you want to get shooting star right away. Empower isn't worth the hassell.

    Reading through the changes on Alcast's site, these changes as a whole honestly sound very interesting. I look forward to playing them :/

    As for the change to Empower, I think it's good. No more need to pick up hundreds of lorebooks because Empower was attached to a Lvl9-10 MG passive, although Empower+Imbue sounds very strong.

    Understood and players that min/max for burst dps are probably the minority's ingame . I am really glad for those just seeking out books for fun not being effected and no worries to your builds . That is good it will not effect your play style .

    Empower is the passive 1/2 2/2 that increases the damage for a couple seconds after casting a Mage skill ability . It's what gives your meteor a burst of damage . If you don't have empower 2/2 you will notice it does not hit as hard as when empowered . Many classes use inner light to gain very good bonuses before casting a big damage ability .

    The change effectively kills DW for mag sorc, since it was all about using Entropy to fish for Frag procs. The empowered Frags was the only thing it had going for it over the boring destro pigeonhole.
