Breath of Life nerfed (again), Healing Ritual turned into a pricey instant AoE heal [Summerset]

Curious to see how this feels in-game as opposed to a general description.

Not to mention the values can easily change by the time the live patch arrives.

I'm not surprised to see these changes. They also talked how Healing Ritual was suppose to be the best heal but it's garbage cause of the cost.

I'm good also if it's a high cost. It's pretty easy to regen magicka. I can be nearly out (34k Magicka) put out a couple regens and then like 2 heavy attacks later be full again with no pots.

I still don't think Healing Ritual will be used, as there simply isn't any space for it. We already have a (frontal) AoE burst heal in Combat Prayer, and an AoE HoT in Healing Springs.

It will be the go to heal for ball groups in PvP. AOE burst heal bot could be absurd there.

It was already pretty good on a ram if you timed it right versus oils.

How much is the cost? If it matches BoL currently, then its not an issue. But if it costs more, then that might be an issue.

Though hasty prayer looks attractive; ixty says in his post it grants minor expedition which gives me a mobilty chubby.

Yeah I've seen the mobility buff to allies hit by the spell in two player sources (those who were at the weekend event).

Apparently not. The secondary target is healed for less as i recall from Shimmer's vid

It's an absolutely unnecessary nerf. The healing on the second target was quite low already and now they reduced it by another 30%.

That's huge! Makes that morph more attractive for AOE burst healing. If the current cost is around 3k in light armor and Templar Breton passives, it will be closer to 4800 mag. Super expensive but gives allies minor speed looks great.

After they had already reduced the number targets before that.

You WILL use Healing Ritual or BoL will only offer two seconds of magickasteal on a 3 minute cool down

They say it does, but doesn't show gameplay confirming (understandable so). Need to wait for pts to test.

i hope in the pts they realize 30% is too much and change that.. what was the purpose of this nerf btw? to have more warden healers? or maybe i miss something, noobie here

LOL 30% nerf to the secondary heal because 3K in Cyrodiil was OP. Just delete the morph already. It's useless. Especially with the new Healing ritual. If PvPers hate "BoL spamming healbots," just wait until Summerset

Literally healers got huge aoe Rushed Ceremony(since healing of HR is equal to RC) with additional effects that will cost a lot.
But nerf to BoL showed that its morph effect should be changed to be single target effect like HtD - for example to grant self-HoT on cast over 6sec or restore stamina to contradict HtD regen.

Based on previous dev comments some players suspect it is to get more people to use Healing Ritual. Plus some PvP players still insist it is OP

Well in PvP there's no use for Rushed Ceremony anymore with Summerset. HTD will be better. Getting 3.5k back is quite nice and you mostly heal targets below the threshold. That the Magicka return doesn't stack is a little bummer but no real problem.

Agree since magplars are the derpiest slowmoving pita ever. I cannot stand playing mine outside anything but end game pve healing.

Really they need to just lay off of BoL. To be fair I only use it in PVE and only rarely (usually to counter someone making a big ol mistake), but still. Stop giving shadowplay and twilight heals as strong as BOL then nerfing Bol. Just cut it out now.

I use honor the dead since months...probably because i run mistly solo then.
But why minding the berf to the additional heal of breath of life, when it was already crap before? We just have to change to htd and wait till they rework bol. Anyway we wont miss bol that much in my opinion.
