If the new motifs are as rare as they are announced to be, which is rarer than DLC bag drops my chances of obtaining the set decreases dramatically. Limiting the timeframe in which i get to attempt to get the motif helps not one bit either, only serving to drive up the price making them even less accessible for me. I only have one character fitted for doing dailies (Max mount speed, decent gear, max level) and i do not have the time of day to do dailies on more than maybe one low level alt. At least for Skinchanger motifs, they dropped en masse allowing all players to obtain them, even if they ended up cluttering the market.

I hear ya in some issues but at the same time...it is almost 2 weeks of double XP. You could easily max a few characters by grinding dailies. Not ideal but you could.

Im really only looking for Worm Cult Motifs from this event. Ive got the vast majority of Motifs now, something like 13 or 14 of them (including Worm Cult and Tsaeci) left to collect. This means that any motif page or book dropping from the event that isnt Worm Cult will most likely be something I already have and will have no need for. So instead of crossing my fingers and hoping for things like the Great Houses Motifs or Blood Forge. Im just going to keep my expectations reasonable and focus on the one Motif that is tied to this event.

Yeah, I maxed a few characters' crafting skills, last year, so I could get 6 boxes with ease.

Is it one present per day per account? Or per character?

Perfect timing for the event. I'm just about to run out of exp boosting for my latest alt.

Infinitely repeatable quests are things like the tip board in the thieves den.

There have been 11 new motifs introduced to the game since last year’s anniversary event. It almost impossible for a new or part-time player to keep up or even complete master writs because of the time sink required to collect them (or earn the gold to buy them). The inclusion of current motif chapters in this year’s reward boxes is a smart idea and the only option, imo. Hopefully the new motif does not have a low drop chance and is not crowded out by everything else. I completed 63 Jesters quests over the weekend and received two tent plans, two memento runeboxes and one DCT recipe. That sort of drop rate is far too low. Hopefully the anniversary boxes are not as stingy.

That 242 million gold bounty is legendary. ZOS should give that person something.

The rewards: Throughout the event, any daily or weekly quest you complete will earn you an Anniversary Gift Box (in addition to their regular rewards). These reward boxes contain crafting materials (ore, ingredients, runes, etc.) and a single rare crafting item (Nirncrux, style items, motif pages, etc.) Note: Gift Boxes cannot be earned by completing infinitely repeatable quests. First random is not an quest I think, the dungeon pledges are dailies and should give the reward.
The pvp quests given at the border fort is probably not dailies but repeatable like the thief guild jobs.

Some say its an limit on 12 rewards for each characters each day?

I am new to the game, so being able to get my hands on any of the motif styles would be awesome for me. I have a 33 level tank, that's my highest so far (am enjoying the hell out of the quests!) I will be doing all I can to earn these things!

Just like winning the lottery is not earning something with hard work. It is random dumb luck. It does not matter if someone who wins the lotto works 60 hours or 2 hours and wins. Its luck, not hard work.

Please explain what this has to do with anything? "Randomness" is a gamble crate. It's fake randomness though...it gives the perception of randomness. Earning a motif by grinding through quests and putting in your work does not discredit the fact that it was still work.You DID things to EARN something. Some people will get more pages than others and some people will have better luck earning these things than others. That doesn't take away from the fact that you had to earn them. Is it perfect? Of course not. I would rather earn something little by little via a series of very challenging tasks, but earning it by doing tasks and collecting random drops will always be better for the game (as well as the players) than spending 50 to 100 USD in a digital store to purchase the motif book instead...or far more if gamble crates are involved. Tasking for a chance to gain a reward keeps the game healthy. It adds new items into the game's economy, it gets players out doing things they may or may not have done before, it promotes gameplay and teamwork (to some extent) and log ins (which populates the world), and it gives players an event to look forward to so that the day to day routine gets broken. It's definitely a positive.

I have 5 characters loaded with crafting writs to turn in at 10am sharp. Hope my first 30 boxes have some motifs in them!
