Here is the gold seller I have seen and reported. I would love an official thread somewhere on the forums where people can post screenshots as well as in game reporting. A little public exposure would go a long way once they see how often (and how many people) are reporting them.
Maybe you could ask his ISP to give him a free month without internet...

IRS cannot do much when it comes to these people, most game currency sellers are not in the US.
There should be a way to track buyers and sellers of gold in this game... and penalize both of them.
Most gold sold by these people comes from hacked accounts. Players who purchase this currency only continue to ensure that more accounts will be compromised.1 -

Perhaps ZOS should make it so any chat message with www. or WWW. in it is only echoed to the local display and not broadcast to the server. LAYETH THE SMACKETH DOWN ON THEIR CANDY BUTTS.I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.0 -

I don't understand where the demand for gold is to make it whorthwhile for the rmt'ers to do what they do. There's no auction house or any real gold sinks. All it is, is players being lazy/impatient to play the game and eventually get it the old fashioned way.
Hopefully the rmt will go away after they don't turn a profit.1 -

Most of these types of parasite don't buy accounts, they steal them through phishing & hacking, all the more reason for NEVER buying gold, would you give your credit card and game account details to them to buy gold knowing they might hack you as well?

This leads me to a concern that, as is their normal means of supplying gold is to gain that gold via a hacked account, that generally the account security in place is compromised.
As such will it be likely that account tokens will be able to be purchased at some point to enhance what is there already?0 -

SMW1980b14a_ESO✭✭✭I see no quick an convenient way to report them. To do so you have to stop, right click and report player. Then wait for the window to finish updating and go through the whole ticket process.
99% of the player population is not going to do that.
How about a right click->Gold Spammer which reports them and adds them to a temporariy ignore list for like two weeks or a month. There is separate chat for different instances, probably not for the phases as that would be just too much chat. Discovered it after relogging several times trying to fix a broken quest. Unfortunately, said quest is still broken.
Edit: And yea, there needs to be a better way of reporting gold sellers/chat spam. Because each report gets their own ticket number ESO ends up spamming your email account for every person you report.Edited by Branbran on April 1, 2014 4:26AMWinter-Time

@ZOS_TristanK Thanks a lot for the response. I really hope you can find a way to eliminate them from the game and hope you consider something like the local chat echo I suggested. With cpu cycles being so cheap you could even make is so they are self reporting if their messages contain certain strings.
